  2. Yawn ... did you say something? I wasn't listening. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  3. Yes I agree that suicides would continue to happen. But I'd be curious to see some sort of stat which break down suicide attempts and the method of choice. Not everybody dies when they OD on drugs, not everybody dies when they slit their wrists. But most people will die when they put a gun to their head and pull the trigger. Hey continue on with your debate folks, it's just not worth my time. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  4. Wow and some of you people don't think this is a problem. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  5. Kat69 is definitely a hottie and if I was a lesbian or a bi-female, I'd like her as well. But as a hetro-guy, I guess all I can say is that she's a hottie. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  6. Dude I am exactly the same way (except that I am in sunny Colorado instead of Florida). As to the topic at hand, CrazyIvan may not have a whole lot of skydiving experience, but I am under the impression that he is well liked by many on these forums which obviously allows himself to get away with things that others may need to worry about. 7. You must be thinking of "Red Wing Charity Night". Every year, they visit a team and let them win on purpose, so the fans will get pumped up, and buy more season tickets. The Red Wings take the loss in exchange for a certain percentage of future ticket sales. When you always win your division, you can afford to give games away now and then. Don LMAO ... that is one of the funniest things I have heard in a long time. In the NHL, any team can beat any other team on any night. The Dead Things just happen to win more than their fair share of games. Hey Alana ... nice pics from the game. Hope you had fun.
  8. No shit? That's my mother's birthday? And if you look at her birthday 2-11-1940 and my birthday 10-8-1963, you'd see that we are 23 years, 9 months and 3 days apart. So guess who was an accident? Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  9. One of my nephews is a Christmas Day baby. He'll be 7 this Dec 25th. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  10. LOL ... you're really into the Badger scene I see. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  11. I thought we already discussed this? We'll be having the wedding ceremony out of the SkyVan (the kiss better happen before 4500 feet) and then the reception will be next to the kegs. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  12. Yee-haa!!! I got some good news today. My request for two weeks off of work came true today. So I will likely be heading out of town on a Friday after work (Dec 19th) towards Moab to check out the new DZ (weather permitting of course). And I hope to spend the weekend in the Moab area before venturing towards Vegas and the Grand Canyon on the Monday. And then I'll likely show my face in Eloy on Tuesday Dec 23rd (or Wednesday if I'm having too much fun in the Vegas area) and will then be in Eloy until Jan 3rd or 4th. 13. The only problem with your weather forecasts is that they don't include any info on the looming beer fronts which threaten to hit the DZ every evening at around 5ish and will continue into the wee hours of each morning. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  14. It's actually a very nice day here in the Denver/Boulder area (nice as in sunny and chrisp). So I didn't want to come off as someone who is whinning about the weather. But the fact remains, I may be feeling a little fuzzy this morning, but I'm not warm. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  15. Are you going to be at the Holiday Boogie? That would be cool if you were there!!! Did I ever tell you that you are one of my favorite people I have met through jumping here in CO? Now how's that for sucking up? It's the truth though. Mary rocks!!! Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  16. I already did (about 3-4 weeks ago). It included pics of a hottie I used to hang with a lot, but that was before I moved on. And it also included some mountaineering pics. Anyway, see you in Eloy in a couple of weeks (I got the go ahead from the boss today, I'll be in Eloy for almost two whole weeks). Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  17. The DZs in the state are not jumping today. They'll operate Wednesdays through Sundays in the summer months, but it's only a weekend deal this time of year. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  18. I may be fuzzy, but I sure don't feel warm right now: http://www.crh.noaa.gov/ifps/MapClick.php?MapType=3&site=BOU&CiTemplate=1&map.x=159&map.y=130 Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  19. If you're doing a flat turn at 50 feet, then likely you're doing it to save your ass (which is why we need to know the skill to begin with). But I can't really think of a jump where I'm not in some sort of flat turn while I'm approaching my setup point and altitude (I have to admit though that I like cruising around on my rears more as my canopy has a great glide ratio). Anyway, at some point things will start coming together for you. Just don't rush yourself and practice practice practice up high before you try it low to the ground. In the future, I plan to incorporate my rears in my swoops, but that will only be after I've practiced this skill up high and can perform it time after time and have built the right muscle memory. 20. Fess up Duece. You're nothing more than a thread terrorist. See you in a few weeks. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  21. Great pics. And even though I wasn't there for this celebration, your pics brought back some great memories from the Bytch Boogie. Can't wait to visit you guys again. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

  23. Well thanks to Mother Nature and a flat tire on our bird last weekend, it now looks like I will be doing my 500th jump on one of my early Eloy Holiday Boogie days. And to tell you the truth, I'd rather do this milestone jump at Eloy than anywhere else. So how do any other '00 milestone jumps look like? Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  24. I still have NHL 95 installed on one of my computers and will occasionally play a game. Compared to nowadays the graphics suck. But I've yet to ever play a game which did a better job simulating a hockey game than NHL 95. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  25. What about "Pong" for us older folk? Intellivision as well (not as old as Pong). Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
