  1. Welcome to triple digits. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  2. Who knows if his profile is accurate. But 2000 jumps in 3 years is doable for the one lucky enough to have the time and money. Isn't there a fellow in Raeford (Matt I believe is his first name) who's pounded out about 2000 jumps in 3 years? Plus since the DZ.COM profile won't let us enter fractions, maybe he's closer to 4 years than 3 years. I know I'm closer to being in the sport 3 years than I am 2 years, but I don't want to enter 3 years yet. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  3. Note to self: don't forget to courier Spizz a 40 pounder of Rum and a case of Coke to arrive at his place around 8:00 pm on the evening of Friday April 22nd (of course he must agree to polish off the 40 pounder all by himself that evening). 4. 0:4:0 I got 4 jumps in Saturday before the spring blizzard blew in (we got about one foot of wet snow since last night here in Westminster with other areas getting even more). Only one more weekend of practice before our first CPC competition. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  5. I knew that. But I couldn't leave it off of the list. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  6. There is nothing to fear from your average Christian or your average Muslim. But the extremists are all over the place. Turn on your TV and you will see tons of Christians preaching Revelations and what a good thing it is, or watch Al-Jezera (sp?) and how they try to instigate Jihad. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  7. On the surface some people might say Islam is the most dangerous religion because some radicals have hijacked that religion and decided to wage war on the infidels. But I'm not so sure that the radicals of Islam are any more dangerous than the radical Christian fundamentalists who believe in the book of Revelations and would like nothing more than to see Armageddon happen in their life times. Christianity is after all is the only religion out there that predicts the end of the world in detail and preaches that this is actually a good thing. So who do you think follows the most dangerous religion towards life on earth and why? Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  8. Sounds like you want me to mug a newbie this weekend. That's no way to get them interested in staying in the sport. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  9. I'd like to do 89 jumps between now and July 14th to hit 1000 jumps by my 3rd sky-birthday. Now I know you and I are under different circumstances, but I think my 89 jumps are doable (assuming I don't get hurt and/or sick between now and then and assuming I'm not asked to work 7 days a week). So I think your 19 jumps are doable. Just try to knock off 3-4 jumps every weekend (and do more when you can) and see where you get. Time will tell. 10. Wow I actually agree with GM on something. But then again, I am a conservative as far as economics are concerned. Another problem of ours is that the corporate world has decided to out source jobs to the cheapest market. But a consumer society is largely to blame for the poor financial situation many people find themselves in. Now what does this have to do with Canada's healthcare system? Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  11. Who said that? If they did they we not in tune with what the bills says. The bill is not enforcing hospitals to *give* the rape victims the pill. It's about informing the victims of their medical options. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  12. Good grief. Am I to understand that you're saying that the rape victim has control over her situation while her aggressor violates her? So ultimately it's the woman's fault because she did not exercise her right to repel the rape? Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  13. It's called being agnostic. The universe, a possible creator and how we came to be is beyond my comprehension. But rest assured, there is no way in hell (pardon the pun) that I'm going to believe some ficticious book written and translated eons ago by humans as the truth. If someone attempted to introduce the bible in today's world they would be laughed at and likely thrown in a mental institution. The bible is fiction, deal with it. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  14. Of course this is just my opinion. But CO female rape victims really should avoid being going to a Catholic Hospitals after they have been raped. Unless of course they too believe in "Life at all Cost". Then in that case, well I guess they should be happy that God meant for them to be raped and gone through their own personal hell because God obviously wanted this to happen. Nice guy isn't he? The bible is fiction. Deal with it. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  15. We're NOT talking about sexually active females here. We are talking about rape victims. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  16. As so should I. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  17. That's a good question about the $1 since the Sands family is no longer in the picture concerning the DZ ownership and all. I don't know what the extra $1 is for any more. Which will come first: 1) The Otter 2) The swoop pond 3) Neither Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  18. $22 for 12.5k $15 for 4.5k Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  19. Yes we clearly are horrible people forcing our agenda when it comes to wanting to educate rape victims of their medical options. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  20. Insults towards who? You ... no ... the Catholic Church ... you better believe it. What ideas would you like to exchange? I see some resemblance of your point that the Government is not forcing certain beliefs on a given religious group (believe me I thought about this before I even started the thread). But why is it that it is okay for a political leader to cater to a religious group than to help protect and educate the people who he's in office to serve? These women have been raped. If I was one of them I would want nothing to do with the #######'# sperm who did this to me. But the response of Catholics instead is to protect life at all cost. An unwanted life at that. What about the rights of the raped woman? What about her life? Up until now I have never had any reason to think Governor Owens had a religious agenda. But I'm not so sure any more. It sounds like his personal beliefs and morals are more important than the need to educate women (who have been raped) about their medical options. We're not talking about foolish teenagers having sex here. We are talking about women who have been raped. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  21. It's okay. The Catholic Church have historically decided to keep their followers ignorant. So why change now? Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  22. I'm back ... do you love me? Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  23. You guys suck!!! I'm leaving DZ.COM and never posting again. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  24. The local CReW dawgs are all bummed out these days because they don't have very many people left to play with. I wish I could help them, but I have my own goals and agenda. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  25. I respect Pope John Paul II for being a compassionate man towards his fellow humans. But I don't believe in the Catholic church nor it's teachings. I am not against Catholics (or even Christians) if they keep their beliefs and morals to themselves. But I am against them when they try to force their beliefs and morals on society. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
