    As a student, I realise that sooner or later I will have to cutaway and trust my rigger. I'm not looking forward to it but I'm not going to worry about it either. Pull, safety count, check canopy - If the canopy isn't viable at that point, it's gone.     Gurkhas are Nepalese soldiers who serve with the British Army. In general, british army soldiers complete phase 1 training which gives all soldiers an introduction to infantry skills, drill, fieldcraft etc and then go on to special to arm phase 2 training ie Infantry, signals, engineers, etc. Gurkhas on the other hand undergo highly competitive selection (usually several thousand applicants for a few hundred places with the british and indian armies) http://www.theguardian.com/uk/2005/dec/06/military.audreygillan Then, even if they are joining the Gurkha engineer, signals or logistics units, all gurkhas complete the 26 week Phase 1 and Phase 2 Infantry Training before going on to Phase 2 training for their specialisation.     it was a parisian roundabout . . . circular is what they do. A friend once gave me some advice about driving in Paris. 1) Rent the most beat up, clapped out old car that you can. Ideally, one that looks about 5 minutes from going through the crusher. 2) Approaching a roundabout, do not slow down - accelerate. 3) Ignore any right of way and drive onto the roundabout like you really don't care whether you live or die.     Couldn't use chantix as I had a severe bout of depression 5 years ago and my doctor advised against it, so I had to go cold turkey. Didn't see any point in using NRT as I'd just be swapping one form of nicotine for another, Atheism is a Non-Prophet Organisation

    At the warehouse I worked at, a forklift truck collided with some of the racking and dumped about 2000 bags of kitty litter onto the ground from 40 feet up. The resulting dust cloud filled the warehouse for about 45 minutes and everybody ended up with the stuff in their eyes, mouth and nose. Plus when you do chemical decontamination drills in the british Army you get fullers earth everywhere and you can taste it for hours afterwards. Atheism is a Non-Prophet Organisation
