Religious people, especially Abrahamic ones are just too pathetic to see that they're the ego trippers.

    Yeah we got decades, maybe even centuries left, that's a long time for some people. Others look at the big picture, and realize that 200 years is next to nothing.

    Humans are just intelligent lemmings. Even if the scientists got it all wrong with the global warming thingy, which is a long shot, there are other problems. We're running out of oil for instance. And out of phosphate. and out of room, and out of loads of other things. I don't have kids and I don't intend to have them. I don't really care what happens to your kids and grand-kids, so go ahead, and ignore the fact that we as a species are fucked if we keep on going at it as we do right now.

    The fact that I can't proof there is no purpose. I'm just being agnostic about it, but I'm 99,99999999% sure that life is void of purpose and meaning. We're just smart bald apes leading small insignificant lives on a run of the mill rock that orbits a run of the mill star in a run of the mill galaxy. I don't really understand why people are so scared of the obvious.

    Carrying the protesters away one by one would be a good way. Depending how the protesters react to it the cops can use proportionate force. Proportionate force can be the use off pepper spray, btw.

    Well, it was a bit far fetched to begin with, and humour in another language is a b**** to pull off, so you can still blame me if you want. I had to google that line to see where it originally came from, but it was "covered" a multitude of times in other movies, series and even sampled in house music. Most of the movies I watch are in English, and most of those movies are American. Unlike most European countries we don't dub movies.

It also doesn't help that you claim that the UK is as pepper spray happy as you guys while that isn't the case. If I need information about police forces I'd rather turn to wikipedia than to you.

    Before I ignore you again: the winter solstice is a real event that happens every year, you don't need to be religious to believe in it! And because I hate winter, the winter solstice is a significant event for me because as far as I'm concerned it's the rock bottom of the year. point two: I don't ignore the good stuff in the bible, but since I've to sift through tons of manure from the deepest gutters of human depravity I reject the bible anyway. You can throw confetti on a manure cart all you want, it still stays a manure cart. The Bible is right up there with his close buddies the Quran and Mein Kampf. Books that preach hatred, intolerance and bigotry but that happen to contain some good stuff too Thirdly: I'm apathetic towards religion but not towards religious people, because, you know, many of them aren't content to keep their religion to them selves.

    That's not the point here. If they really were blocking people from going to school, they could and probably should have been arrested for disturbing public order or something. It's the needless use of violence the police used here to make it happen that's the problem here. The fact that the pepper spray is used in an almost casual way in front of cameras only adds insult to injury.

    One can of pepper spray, that was the big deal here. If the situation had been resolved without it, like it would have been the case in about every other Western nation, the US police wouldn't be suffering a gigantic PR nightmare right now. It probably helps a bit that they suspended the fat pig who's responsible, but I'm afraid that was too little too late. And the kids who got sprayed are practically martyrs now of course.

    I was attempting to make a joke, and failed miserably I guess. If I lurked right on these forums, 99 of 100 times when people don't have a problem with fast progression it's due to their Mad Skillz. There, you made me explain my joke, are you happy now? As for the way that situation was handled: It's nothing short of disturbing. Not only for the obvious but also because they apparently don't understand and/or care that it's being filmed.

    Oh Kennedy before I forget: You know these kind of claims have absolutely no weight whatsoever on the internet if you don't back them up with proof. I thought everybody knew that, but apparently you don't. Because on the interwebz everybody is an expert in anything.

    I didn't twist anything, I only explicitly said what you implied. What you're still implying. You don't have to explain to me that life isn't fair. You don't even have to explain to me that the the OWC gang is not very realistic to say it nicely, but that doesn't mean that people displaying stupid ideas should be treated with violence.

    Well, I doubt that, because you clearly don't understand that spraying unarmed, passive kids with pepper spray ( or whatever you call it) doesn't fly well in the civilized countries on this side of the pond. I think your claim has some truth to it, for some reason, but you don't have the slightest clue of how things here work. Oh, and your ability to display basic courtesy sucks too.

    I'm not sure what "going hands on" means, but over here it if you are in the way, a cop will grab you and put you in a better spot. How harmful that is depends on how much you resist your relocation. If you don't resist at all your clothes might get dirty.... Oh, and if you spray me in the face I will feel like shit, but I'll survive. But someone with a heart condition or severe asthma.....
