you might want to learn a bit about Islam and Islam in Lebanon in general before you make these types of remarks. They've got a very large population of non-muslims. Beside that, it wasn't the nation of Lebanon that fired those rockets, it was a terrorist organization. You people should really try to read the relevant information.

Outing Jumpers on dropzone.com ... Who's been outed!?

You got it wrong: I don't think Lebanon (or the Lebanese) is "an organization associated with al-Qaida" And yes, I'm sceptical about the good intentions of Lebanon too, but you simply can't fire shells into a sovereign nation and expect them to be fine with it, not even if you're gods own people.

Well, It was more a counter argument on the cynical/hilarious argument that the Nukes were also thrown with the intention to save Japanese lives. But I reckon on all sides of the playing field the saying "The only good [insert derogatory term for enemy] is a dead [insert derogatory term for enemy] was standard. Not very shocking after a dirty war like WW II.

At least I tried it, didn't I? Now we should all unite and bash Shropshire for having an opinion about snails without even trying them. Cooked snails are a lot of things but slimy isn't one of those things.
-
One doesn't have to be very cynical to conclude that the act of detonating a nuclear weapon over a Japanese city centre is a rather clear sign that the allies didn't really care about the number of dead Japanese.

The garlic and parsley are good to hide the taste, and the butter is ideal to get the nasty rubbery things down quickly and without chewing. I tried them, and they aren't my favourite.

I'm not a skydiver, but generally speaking: if the sick one is healthy enough to whine about it, he/she is healthy enough to take care of him/her self. So in that case you can go. If he/she doesn't whine about it, you're free to go too. Rarely was a situation so full of win as this one.

What I meant to say: hide yer money!!

Tunnel time is of course expensive, and this isn't a viable option for many starting jumpers. Other then that, if you're in a relationship shipping loads and loads of money to the DZ/windtunnel might cause problems, even if you can afford it.

It might be a good time to work on your physical fitness. Well, if you aren't doing that already.

Even if they consent to being pepper sprayed the cops aren't allowed to ignore the protocol or whatever for the use of pepper spray. (I've to add that I don't know what the protocol for Californian cops is)

Well, it's a bit more then a good luck symbol, it has been a sacred symbol in large parts of Asia for millennia, and that short episode in European history hasn't changed that a bit. Do you really expect hundreds of millions of people to simply adopt another symbol because someone on another continent waged a world war and committed genocide under that symbol?
-
We can argue about that, but I wouldn't like to see Nukes in the hands of people who essentially think that dead is a great thing and extinction events are the way to create paradise. I don't really make a difference between people who think Jesus will come back on a mushroom cloud, vaporizing London will get them x virgins or that humans suck and we should return the world to other animals. In short, suicidal lunatics.
-
Whether you like it or not, the think that keeps the sky mushroom cloud free is the fact the nuclear powers are all pointing their nuclear guns at each others heads. Mutual Assured Destruction isn't very idealistic, but apparently it works. Yeah, we should be working towards a nuke-free world, but I wouldn't hope to much for it.

You might want to be a bit more specific here, as in, give me examples of me twisting your words. I'll show you how it's done. I'm sure I was annoying in that topic, but not because I didn't want to hear your "information". I heard it, didn't agree with it, and made an counterargument. Mostly because you came up with a false dilemma: Violent and possibly dangerous hands on methods as the only alternative to pepper spray. I don't think anyone was interested in your personal details, I sure ain't and I didn't ask for them. You made some claims about how police forces work, and I wanted to see some sources to back that up. I don't really see how your personal details would have any relevance there. Interestingly phrased. A simple "I like my privacy too much to share my personal details on the internet" would be just as clear, and wouldn't have showed of how you think of people who don't agree with you. Well that is, if someone actually had asked you to share your private details. I remember it was you that claimed "about every police force" using the same system. And I think the anti-sprayers were actually the ones bringing alternatives to the table. Of course there are different methods, but that wasn't the issue there. The issue is that some methods are more questionable then others. You claimed that it almost universally used after a verbal warning. And I don't know if the term "soft hand" methods exist, but I'm sure you understand where I'm getting at. They should at least have tried to remove the protesters in a non-violent way. Yes You tell me, you claimed specifically they do use pepper spray in the same situation. OWS protesters strike me as the type that are very quick with the term "police violence", that doesn't mean that actual police violence against them can be ignored. That's all the anti-sprayers were saying. The point is that we think that there should've been a couple of steps between the warning and the use of pepper spray.

10% of the worth of it. Somewhere around 100 in my case. 10% of 500 + replacements costs of ID card and driver's licence. The other things are free of charge to replace, and I don't have credit cards. -
You might want to upsize a bit before you do that or you'll only be making the red planet redder.... But you got some serious cliffs there...

I ordered the combi-packet: 5 x SL + AFF 1. If everything goes well I'll start on 7 April 2012 9:30 AM local time. I begin to suspect I indeed got down with the sickness. And I might as well spend my Euros while they've still some monetary value

If you throw in some lights, it'll also make a decent Christmas display.

Yes I can, and I'm doing it right now.

Ah, I see, well I assumed he was from Texas. Oh and the "supporting my freedom" stuff doesn't really work on me. I don't see how stabilizing former Yugoslavia affects my freedom the least bit.

I said that Kennedy claimed he is an expert. He has yet to provide us with the first shred of evidence for that claim. I believe he has some knowledge about police work, but I suspect he's seriously over-estimating his knowledge, especially his knowledge about international Police. And yes you can separate non-violent protesters without busting there joints and nerves. Since you made the claim that the alternative to pepper spray results in severe injury, you should be the one providing proof for that. I think it's kinda obvious you can manipulate someone's arm without wounding that person. Also, pepper spray doesn't cause arms to go unlinked, so you still have to do that, isn't it? You're seriously suggesting that you doubt you can carry someone off without causing injury? I find it very hard to believe that's the only internet access you have. But it shows protesters being carried of in a non-violent fashion.'It doesn't show the unlinking of arms. But I'm sort of done with you here, you dodge arguments and twists words, etc. That's your good right, but I have the right to no longer waste words on it.
-
I think you are mistaking me with Kennedy. That's the one who claims to be an expert on international Police forces. I don't think that you have to be an expert in anything (or to consult wikipedia for that matter) to know it's possible to carry someone off in a non violent way. If you get the chance to access it, we'll discuss it.
