  1. Oh, it surely derails your statement, but it's applicable to the discussion until someone (probably you) refutes it with proper arguments. Not that I've a lot of hope I'll ever see those arguments.
  2. I don't want to derail stuff, but this doesn't include same sex-marriage in many US states, so the marriage argument isn't bogus. If the marriage doesn't fit within the local laws, it isn't recognized.
  3. Oh Dear, there goes the planet. First we lost Eurabia and there goes Al America.
  4. http://www.marines.com/main/index/making_marines/culture/traditions/semper_fidelis "Semper Fidelis distinguishes the Marine Corps bond from any other. It goes beyond teamwork – it is a brotherhood and lasts for life. Latin for "always faithful," Semper Fidelis became the Marine Corps motto in 1883. It guides Marines to remain faithful to the mission at hand, to each other, to the Corps and to country, no matter what. Becoming a Marine is a transformation that cannot be undone, and Semper Fi reminds us of that. Once made, a Marine will forever live by the ethics and values of the Corps. There is no such thing as an ex-Marine." Is it a religious sect or part of some 12 steps plan?
  5. Jack the Ripper School of Euthanasia. Also an Athletic Scholarship for the the Stephen Hawkins Institute of YEC is something to avoid.
  6. I do realize that. I also realize I ignored sources that would lead to an outcome that was less favourable for us heathens, in favour for this source. Finally I realize that I use the word "usually" in stead of "always" to proof my evilness... well part time evilness that is. (MUUWAAHAHA!!!! et al) I just countered bad statistics with slightly better statistics, but in the end the whole "Who is morally superior" debate is an exercise in futility (as beautifully shown in my source btw, the same enquette yields two drastically different percentages for irreligion.) Besides that, the whole debate has a slight after-taste of bigotry and hate-mongering, so long ago I decided everyone sucks equally bad on average. Except charismatics, charismatics are slightly more evil then everyone else.
  7. http://www.humanism.org.uk/campaigns/religion-and-belief-surveys-statistics So less than a third of the inmates claims to have no religion, yet more than one third of the population claims to have no religion. Therefore, based on your source (or lack there-off) and my source, we can conclude that religious people tend to be more criminal than irreligious people. Personally I usually try to avoid to play the game "which demographic is the most evil?". It's a game that's usually played by... well, evil people.
  8. Yes and Christians just have to accept Jesus as their lord and saviour to escaped death and/or any negative consequences of death. How courageous is that? Not very.....
  9. Yeah, meddling in someone else's sex life is very *cough* modern...
  10. Even if it's OK to jump with a bungee that looks so worn out, which I doubt, It's advisable too replace it to not scare customers away. Even the first time I watched it (on TV) I was like "WTF!!!!!11, they let someone jump with that?"
  11. You were talking to me, and the only hint I got was that you feel persecuted. Well, actually it was a bit too explicit to be called a hint. And in my experience Christians (an Muslims too btw) feel persecuted really quickly. Christians sometimes even feel persecuted when they aren't allowed to persecute others any more.
  12. You stated that you weren't talking about persecution/oppression, but that doesn't mean that that's true. But what was you talking about then?
  13. Yes, but then again, alcohol is one of the more dangerous drugs. voted alcohol, btw.

  15. Bear is a talented piss drinker, that much is certain..... Other than that he seems to be a rather monumental failure, judging from his show it's rather remarkable he survived for this long. The guy just doesn't seem to have a clue other than drinking piss when he shit hits the fan.
  16. Maybe your kids are evil geniuses that pretend to be nice, and you won't know until they unleash their doomsday device Maybe you've got the wrong interpretation of the myth truth Maybe the universe is Santa (pansantaism) Nice anecdote, but it doesn't prove a thing
  17. And this is impossible because..... ?
  18. I believe "pasty-faced white guys from Amsterdam" look more like this: http://www.stonerforums.com/lounge/members/blackdog-albums-miscellaneous-picture3209-jesus-toke.gif
  19. The leg would be barbecued, but since it's stuck under a steel beam, it's kind of hard to eat it. Also, it might end up a bit over cooked. Does that answer your question?
  20. Fair enough, but I doubt my reaction in such a situation would be to give you permission to chop of my leg. So you would probably do a horrible thing to me against my will. It doesn't really matter that my rational choice is to survive by loosing my leg too.
  21. I've a dilemma for you: On a good day, well actually a bad day, you meet me. You've got an axe with you, and I'm stuck with my leg under a steel beam. Of course the building is on fire, why else would you be there You've got about 60-90 seconds to save my ass. a) What would your ACTION be? b) what would my REACTION to that ACTION be? I can assure you that the answer to b) wouldn't be "Sure, good sir, chop away, who needs anaesthesia anyway?"
  22. Don't be silly, there's no way that this could be a manifestation of non-human spirituality: http://www.wild.org/blog/elephant-death-rites/
