I guess I'm a part time nutball. You're as crazy as you wanna be. Loony one moment, sane the next, you can adjust your nuttiness level at any time. Blue Skies Steve Ok, so it's pink, but I'm secure in my manhood, and I still look cool coming in under it!

I can do better than that ( or worse). I am bored out of my mind and I get to look forward clouds this weekend Blue Skies Steve Ok, so it's pink, but I'm secure in my manhood, and I still look cool coming in under it!

Doesn't that stuff have ephedrine in it? I was thinking I had heard about health problems from Xenadrine. Could be wrong though. So many supplements out there. I don't buy the claims of half of them. Well, I do all of that except 100 crunches a day. I only do them a couple of times a week. Hmm, maybe that's why I don't have a sixpack. I was already laughing

They actually did recieve a letter from the FDA warning them against numerous illegal claims, and stated with the claims they were making, they were selling a drug not a supplement. http://www.fda.gov/foi/warning_letters/g3383d.pdf Apparently they have not heeded the warning. The part that really cracked me up is that they don't tell you how much citamins and minerals are in there, and in the FAQ's they actually state Seasilver™, being a whole food product, does not contain any synthetic nutrients. Nature cares about balance, not potency. The key to nature is its unique ability to always balance the ration of vitamins to macro minerals, to trace minerals, to amino acids, to enzymes. Potency in nature will vary. This is why you never see the amount of nutrients listed on foods in the produce section of your grocery store. We know oranges contain Vitamin C. If you pick 10 oranges off the same tree, they will all have a different amount of Vitamin C, but the ration of nutrients one to another will be the same, in nature's perfect balance. That's the secret to Seasilver™'s effectiveness. *** That cracked me up. Oh well, as you said society is getting dumber. Check out www.seasilver.com and let me know what you think. My trainer gave me a bottle because he said it had a lot of the amino acids I need for recovery. I do my homework and check out the website. This stuff "Cures what ails ya" I could not believe that they would even attempt these claims in today's society. Oh well, I guess people still fall for it. See ya! Blue Skies Steve Ok, so it's pink, but I'm secure in my manhood, and I still look cool coming in under it!

What are some of your Favorite Skydiving Dreams
beemertec replied to Casch's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I was doing a solo jump and came off the plane into a backflip. When I tried to arch my body wouldn't do it so I was falling on my back. Somehow I ended up in a sit position when Sandor and Alan caught up with me. Alan grabbed my arm and we spun and he threw me. I finally looked at my altimeter, but it wasn't on my wrist so I looked down. When I did I went belly to earth but was only about 500 from the ground. I immediately pulled silver and the reserve took forever to open. It finally opened about 50 ft off the ground. I found my self on a down hill slope with a fence running across it about every 100 ft. When I flared the canopy did not lose forward speed, so I was swooping and heading fast for a fence. I ended up making a carving swoop almost into a u-turn came to a stand up landing. My rigger ran over to me and asked what the hell I was doing. He inspected my reserve and it had a lot of slits across the top like the parachute ride at six flags. I have an AG 160. They were manufactured by the previous owners of the DZ in Rome, GA. It's a good canopy, but no longer made. I would think $500.00 is pretty high for that canopy. Blue Skies Steve Ok, so it's pink, but I'm secure in my manhood, and I still look cool coming in under it!

I was born and raised in GA and I could care less what flag we fly. I think the post 1956 flag looks the best, but it is just a flag after all. I would be surprised to see a modified pre 1956 flag pass with "In God We Trust" on it. I am a Christian and this is the Bible belt, but I don't think the ACLU would let that one go without a huge fight, In case it might offend anyone who does not believe in God. Go with the pre-1956 flag unaltered and be done with it. Or maybe we could just fight over it a while longer. After all, I'm sure there is nothing more pressing for the state of GA than what the flag looks like. I was talking enlisted personel. I also meant overall. When I joined in 1989, the job with the lowest asvab score out of all the armed forces was a Navy mess cook, and the highest asvab requirement was to be in the navy's nuclear power program. Of course, it has already been pointed out that the asvab was a joke anyway, but believe it or not I had a classmate who took the asvab 6 times between his junior year in high school and his 21st birthday before he earned a high enough score to be a mess specialist. If I recall you needed an overall 18 for that job. He actually took a study course in order to finally score higher than that. This is true. I have taken lots of breaks. I'll beat this habit eventually. Blue Skies Steve Ok, so it's pink, but I'm secure in my manhood, and I still look cool coming in under it! -
I was not a Marine. I was in the Navy. We did let the Marines guard our ships though. For practice we would send a seal team in to take over the ship. So much for the Marines. Seriously though Zenister, you might want to do a little research before you start yapping. The Marines have the highest standards for enlistment of all the Armed Forces, and no they do not accept criminals. I've been dying to ask for a while now. How do you earn the name? (or do I really want to know? ) Blue Skies Steve Ok, so it's pink, but I'm secure in my manhood, and I still look cool coming in under it! -

Umm, I'm a little confused about your reply to my post. Maybe you just replied to the wrong post. I agree that death is a part of life, but I do not fear it because I know what I have to look forward to. Ok, I can't resist this thread, so here we go. First of all I am a Desert Storm vet. I was not in the military because I thought it was macho. I joined the Navy because I wanted to serve my country. I felt is was the right thing to do and I have to say I get a little pissed off when I hear people bad mouth the military and what they do. If it weren't for our military we wouldn't enjoy the freedoms we have today. In case some of you did not know it took a war just to have a USA. That said, one of the rights taht we fought for and continue to fight for is freedom of speech. Although I disagree with the anti-military posts here, everyone has a right to their opinion. As for the Christian thing. Yes I am a Christian, and yes I am in school to become a youth pastor. Dave is correct in his theology. As a matter of fact the Bible says, actually let me rephrase that. Jesus said,"6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet." Matthew 24:6 . In case you think I have taken this out of context read Matthew 24:4-31. This is Jesus talking about the end days. There have been wars throughout history, some commanded by God, others not. Wars will continue until the Battle of Armageddon(Revelation 16) when Jesus will ride out of Heaven on a white horse to make war. He is coming at that time as Conquerer and King. (Revelations19 and 2 Thess. 1:7-10) Then Christ will establish the 1000 years of peace on earth after which will be the final battle. (Revelations 20) I am not writing all this to say Jesus is a war monger or that the world is coming to an end. I am simply showing that as is stated in Ecclesiastes 3:1-10 there is a time for everything. There is a time for war. I believe this was one of those times. Sorry this turned into a theological debate, but remember I didn't start it. I just want to make sure we keep the record straight. If you need more scripture to back up what I am saying I will be happy to provide it. Blue Skies Steve Ok, so it's pink, but I'm secure in my manhood, and I still look cool coming in under it!

I bought my helmet and alti as soon as I graduated AFF. At jump 12 I bought my own rig (used), and ordered my jumpsuit. Blue Skies Steve Ok, so it's pink, but I'm secure in my manhood, and I still look cool coming in under it!

Just got mine fixed, sort of. My system is 20 years old and leaks, but a $100.00 recharge seems to keep it going through the summer.

Drink lots of water. Dehydration is the biggest reason you are getting fatigued in the heat. I would also recommend excercising, like aerobic activity. I'm not a doctor, but these are the things that have worked for me when experincing a pretty severe climate change. Also I don't if it's possible, but if you can go down a couple of days early. You would be amazed at how quickly your body will adapt. Hope that helps. Blue Skies Steve Ok, so it's pink, but I'm secure in my manhood, and I still look cool coming in under it!
