Re: [darkvapor] Christian Ministry to Skydivers

OK, so maybe everyone else is just ignoring you, but I thought it was funny and a much needed break from this thread. -
Congratulations and welcome to the forums. You'll find a lot of good info here. Blue Skies Steve Ok, so it's pink, but I'm secure in my manhood, and I still look cool coming in under it!

1:2:0 Not bad considering I had to work Saturday. At least I got a couple of jumps in. And I made one new friend. I finally got to meet Mouth at the DZ. I had a blast Saturday Lisa. Good drinking a beer with ya. We'll jump together next time. Blue Skies Steve Ok, so it's pink, but I'm secure in my manhood, and I still look cool coming in under it!

I'm a bit confused. Is this question in the April issue of Parachutist? The website mentions a new Spectre add, but all I can find is the PD ad that lists all their canopies. Blue Skies Steve Ok, so it's pink, but I'm secure in my manhood, and I still look cool coming in under it!

Tell a girl skydiver how much she rocks
beemertec replied to Jessica's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Well ladies, I am new to skydiving myself so I don't go around giving unsolicited advice. I am generally the one asking for it. I prefer talking to experienced female jumpers because you generally don't take a condescending attitude. I think all you gals ROCK! If I ever get to the point where I am giving advice in an offensive way, just slap me. Blue Skies Steve Ok, so it's pink, but I'm secure in my manhood, and I still look cool coming in under it! -

Unsolicited advice and grumpiness
beemertec replied to Jessica's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
That may be true for experienced jumpers that read these posts, but for all the newbies that may be reading, one jumpers advice may sound as good as another. Of course that's why I always ask experienced jumpers I trust to validate what I have read on the forum if I have any doubts. I'm not trying to be argumentative, just thought I would chime in. OK, Let me rephrase: What kind of homelife makes a kid want to grow up go through years of college and study to inject acid into a fish's lips? Blue Skies Steve Ok, so it's pink, but I'm secure in my manhood, and I still look cool coming in under it!

May of last year I got a wild hair and decided I wanted to try skydiving. I lined up 15 friends and coworkers that wanted to and set up AFF level 1 for all of us the 1st Sat. in June. By that morning we were down to 7 people. Out of the 7 a few of them have made 1 or 2 more jumps, and most of them keep saying they are coming back again. (I'll believe it when I see it.) I was the only 1 that stuck with it. I graduated AFF a week later, and bought my gear 1 month after that. I don't understand how people can make 1 jump and just walk away. 0:2:4 2 jumps on Saturday. 1st time at Skydive Atlanta. Great people down there. I love making new friends

I visited Skydive Atlanta for the first time this weekend. I arrived at about 5 pm. I admit I was little nervous because I did't expect to see anyone I knew. Fortunately, I knew one of the video flyers and one of the instructors from another DZ. Mandy in manifest was very friendly and professional. She checked my gear and my license and asked me if I wanted on the next load. All of the upjumpers and staff were very friendly. They were very safety conscience, asking about my currency, checking manifest against jumpers on the plane, etc. The rigging staff is top notch. I landed from a load and manifested for the next one which was on 15 minute call, droppped my rig to be packed and asked if it could be ready by the next load. They packed it and I had time to spare. Friendly and professional, what more can you ask for? How about a rocket to get you to altitude? Their King Air is pretty close. It felt like a vertical launch when we took off and 7 or 8 minutes later I was out the door. The plane was so nice on the inside it wouldn't have bothered me one bit if the ride lasted longer. Bottom line: I highly recommend Skydive Atlanta. Blue Skies
