There are good connections because the crew had access to information that enhanced the KC story. The FBI saw through this immediately, because they pretty much know the whole story. It's important because we have the original Cooper descriptions from the files. If the current description does not match his original, then all his info is worthless. If it's a great match, then any additional information provided should be investigated. For once we have a way to establish some level of credibility for a current witness.
