last time i suffered symtoms anywhere like yours, though nowhere near as bad, i did 6 jumps a day at a FS skills camp in Portugal, back when i have 30 jumps total. Felt dizzy the whole day and almost threw up at dinner. Wasn't sure of the cause, but i don't get it anymore. Adrenalin hangover maybe? I do suffer from motion sickness, i don't throw up, but i do go very queasy. Eugene "In the beginning the Universe was created. Mine is Twinnings earl's grey tea, with suger and a touch of lemon. Another one is iced lemon tea, just can't get enough of it, and Teh Tarik, a malaysian beverage of sweet, milky tea with a very light taste. The tea is poured from a hand held high into a container held in a hand below. The tea is poured back and forth in this manner to create a thick froth . And when i have it, Fentiman's Curiosity Cola, in a proper glass bottle. The guys off my course used to think that i start drinking beer first thing in the morning in lectures because of it. Eugene . Well, i hacked my left hand with a machete when i was six.. does that count as experience? Got it stitched up at home, Dad's a doctor and Mom's a surgeon and they had suture and L.A. lying around.... but i digress. I remember an incident a few years ago when i was staying in university halls. I found myself in a friend's room, with a bunch of women, about eight of them, bitching about guys.I made a joke about me being there, and one of the girls replied, "Oh, you're okay." Didn't know what to make of it then... But not insulted, just happy that they feel comfortable with me being there. Eugene . "In the beginning the Universe was created. Closest DZ I know of is in thailand and indonesia. check out www.skydiveasia.org Website for the tunnel http://www.genting.com.my/en/themepark/skyventure/index.htm I usually end up staying at the First World hotel, easier to stay at genthing then travelling from KL if you're going to be in the tunnel for two days or more. Hey, i used to run the skydiving club at Bath Uni, and we jump at Netheravon. Great view of the salisbury plains from the air and most of the west country, and you can see stonehenge from the air. Other places are South Cerney, and Hinton's quite nice too. Not too famillar about the DZ's closer to London though. When are you coming over? Eugene . "In the beginning the Universe was created. My lower wisdom teeth were impacted, but not erupted. so had to cut open my gums, then split the tooth to extract both of them. Can't complain about my dentist, she's my mother.

You can jump as long as you're comfortable i guess. I got my lower wisdom teeth in a littly bottle, when i rattle it my dog freaks out.

I was told something similar too. If i look straight down i'll get groundrush and think i'm a lot lower the I actually am. Was taught to look towards the horizon instread. Now thinking about it, i still land with my feet and knees together, and always thinking about the PLF i'll do if i mess up my landing. Been doing that since i tore up the ligaments in my ankle on my second jump. Hope your leg's better.

To be honest, i don't know about dropzones in the Republic of Ireland herself. The ones on the island that i know about are in Northen Ireland, Wild Geese in county Londonderry, and a military DZ. I haven't read Blink, but if you find you like Gladwell, go out and get The Tipping Point, too. I loved that.

Just bought a new book today, "Blink, the power of thinking without thinking". It's explores the phenomenon of how snap judgements can be a lot more effective then a cautious decision. Other then that, some of my favourite books. Hyperion by Dan Simmons, also Endymion, Illiad and Olympos The book of bunny suicides, (very funny) Anything by Iain M. Banks Anything by Alastair Reynolds: Revelation Space, Chasm City, Redemption Ark, Century Rain, Pushing Ice. Everything by Neil Gaimen And that's the books in my "ready read" pile. Eugene .
