  1. Wow Kev! That chick is nutz! I would really look into filing a PFA on her as well. If anything it may keep her harassing to a minimum. And if you stop being such a nice guy it could end it completely. (Turn her in EVERY time she calls, shows up, etc!) So much for trying to end things nicely! Oh, SOP of a PFA is to remove any firearms so don't take that part personally. (Not meaning that you can't be pissed as hell!) Oh yeah...they'll also give her a choice to make that 18 months instead of a year too. Just thought I'd give you a heads up. If I were in your boots I would be talking to a lawyer right about now. Having a PFA filed on you doesn't look good for your personal records. Sorry to hear about this. Maybe we'll get some warmer weather around here so you can get in the air and forget about it a while? Good Luck! BettyAnn Getting married? Check out my website!
  2. Maybe in your state but these issues are very different by each state, as Thanatos340 said. In PA the child support has absolutely nothing to do with visitation. They look only at your pay stubs and figure out how much is paid. As for the original question...If you two can get along well enough to do it then file the papers yourselves but I would still have a lawyer look them over first just to make sure you aren't giving up something you don't realize. 3. I was trying to be good and not say anything but since you mentioned it... BettyAnn Getting married? Check out my website!
  4. Wow! That's one of the best excuses to miss a boogie I've ever heard! Congrats! That is so Awesome! BettyAnn Getting married? Check out my website!
  5. I already got mine back and its a bit more than 2K.
  6. I told someone that I didn't like their canopy choice and I would not jump with them as long as they continue to jump that canopy. I may not be able to control what he does but I make my choices and stick to them. If he wants to jump together he can ditch the canopy otherwise we're done. Its his choice but I've made my feelings well known. If he continues to jump the canopy I'm sure it will hurt our friendship past just not jumping together but we'll have to wait and see what happens. BettyAnn Getting married? Check out my website!
  7. Ok, I have to chime in here because it seems that so many people who are lucky enough to be able to jump often think they get to decide who is worthy enough to take part in this sport. First, Yes, I do understand that currency plays a big part in being safe. Of course I also read incident reports of way too many jumpers with hundreds or thousands of jumps who have just become careless. Believe me, I would LOVE to be able to jump more often! Me…I started jumping May ‘99. I made 15 jumps that first year and became pregnant with my twins. I figured that as a single Mom I would never get to jump again so I was happy to have just been able to have the experiences that some will never have. Almost three years later I couldn’t take it anymore and HAD to jump. I took all the refreshers necessary and started jumping again. Because I am a single Mom and because I don’t make what some people spend for jumps per year I don’t get to jump much. Anyway, over the past 2 years I have made 60 jumps. By definition from some of you I should just quit. I have news for you , I will NOT! I have jumped more hurdles than many of you will ever know to be able to keep jumping. If you knew what was involved in my life you would ask how I manage to make time to jump at all, not to mention how I afford it. I have to have someone to watch my kids and I do not jump on days when the wind is high or being funky. It also happens to be 20 degrees outside right now so I’m not jumping till it warms up a either. I jump a Spectre 150 loaded 1:1 and I fly very conservatively under it. I also happen to be one of the people at the DZ that people look at funny when I tell them my jump numbers because I AM at the DZ as much as possible. Jumping or not. Again, according to those of you who seem to forget what the simple love of jumping is like, you think that this sport is only for those with plenty of money and no other life responsibilities. I would understand if an instructor who actually knew my skill level told me that this was not the sport for me but who are you to pass judgment?! BettyAnn Getting married? Check out my website!
  8. Yep, they're AWESOME! I ordered my whole rig from them over the phone at 4:30pm on July 31st. My first rig so I had a million questions too. They gave me all the sale prices for the July sales (saved me LOTS of $!) and then even threw in free shipping! I had a custom Wings, both canopies & cypres packed and ready to jump sitting on my doorstep exactly 3 weeks after I ordered it! AWESOME!! BettyAnn Getting married? Check out my website!
  9. Wow! Congrats! I actually expected the title of this to be a joke! Since it isn't I just have to throw this in, cause I think its too cute! Awwww Oh and nice job with the rock...you have good taste! BettyAnn Getting married? Check out my website!
  10. I've almost always dated guys older than me, ok, a couple that were my age or a year younger but mostly older. It really didn't matter though because they were all just not right for me. (Obviously since I'm still single.) I actually had a personal "rule" of not dating guys younger than me because the older ones were immature and problem enough! My current bf happens to be 9 years younger than me and although most of the time its not even an issue, when I stop to think about it I'm still a little baffled. Its all about personality and what you want in a person, not what year they were born. I admit that I do worry a bit about the different stages of life we're in because I'm 28 and a mom of 2 and he's 19 and just out of school. But so far so good. BettyAnn Getting married? 11. Thanks for the update. The weather has been its usual freezing & crappy so that thing would be really nice to have right about now. Looks like NC is the closest to me. I wouldn't mind heading down there. Of course if I'm heading down there to jump I probably would beg my Mom to take the kids for a few days. If the one on Trenton is done in time for their 4th b'day I know what I'm getting them! That should give them some bragging rights at preschool! Ha ha! BettyAnn Getting married? Check out my website!
  12. You know it! And of course you know I have much better ones that I won't put on the internet that will be much worse for them later. BettyAnn Getting married? Check out my website!
  13. Oh wow...my kids would go CRAZY if they could do that! She's is a lucky little girl. If they ever get moving on the tunnel that's supposed to be built an hour from me that's where you can find them! BettyAnn Getting married? Check out my website!
  14. Ok, ok...last few...my munchkins together... And yes, it is hard to keep clothes on kids their age. I'm hoping they grow out of that before they start school! BettyAnn Getting married? Check out my website!
  15. These are Ian. The "little " brother. They're the exact same height & weight. BettyAnn Getting married? Check out my website!
  16. Ok, you asked for it...I'm always up for posting photos of my munchkins! Cody and Ian are identical twins...just turned 3! These are Cody... (He's 7 minutes older) BettyAnn Getting married? Check out my website!
  17. Its beautiful but if my bf were giving it to me he had better be VERY clear that its just a gift and I'm still not sure how I'd react. Hopefully it doesn't fit best on her left ring finger or people will be asking when is the date! I've seen so many people use other stones in engagement rings. They look awesome and different, instead of the same ring everyone else has. Sorry but I would be expecting that little qn after opening that box. Good Luck! BettyAnn Getting married? 18. Hey Goddess, Sorry to hear about your situation but glad to hear you’re getting some help. Sounds like my ex too. Good Luck! BettyAnn Getting married? Check out my website!
  19. It is quite interesting to see how this thread has “cleaned up” as of this morning. Deleting posts to hide your rude & childish comments may make you feel better but I already know they were there. Threatening and insulting me, calling Payback462 names, among other things…was completely uncalled for and not the behavior I expect to find on these forums. I never said I don’t like PPL or think poorly of the company. (Just one particular rep now.) You continuing to insult people on this board has turned what could have been a learning experience into a childish dirt throwing match. If you can’t deal with people having different opinions then you, that is your problem. If you are so paranoid that you think an opinion that differs from your what you believe is a slam against you then you will have many battles in life. I feel bad for any wuffo you meet who thinks skydiving is stupid or a waste of $. Insulting others will not change their views or opinions. BettyAnn Getting married? Check out my website!
  20. This thread was not about copying and pasting articles from websites. I was trying to retain its original meaning and keep it from turning into what it has become. My lack of specifics is again because this was not your thread to take over to debate about your company. You still know little about my knowledge or extent of it. If you wanted to know the specifics of my experience because you were worried about your credability, you could have asked in a PM in an adult/professional manner instead of the very unprofessional (to put it lightly) manner you took. Again, if you wanted to add your opinion you could have. Instead you decided to bash the opinions and experiences of the other people posting here. They are our opinions and we will post them whether you agree or not. I won't bother replying to the rest of your childish comments. Although I must say that I do agree with at least one of your thoughts. Let it go…good night. BettyAnn Getting married? Check out my website!
  21. The person I spoke to's name will remain with me. This is still a public forum and I won't let you or anyone else drag her into this rediculous debate. Most of what you are saying is all but quoted right from the brouchures I got from the rep I spoke to. Very nice to hear abut still does not help the main issue I was looking for help with. Also please don't assume that because you are a part of this company that you are the only one who knows how MLM works. I will not name drop but I have met and become friends with some of the top people in MLM. Did I say it was bad? Or good? Neither, just that I know and understand it. You actually know very little about me to go making assumptions that you know more about anything than anyone else on this board. I will not sit and debate with you on this. You are speaking defensivly because you take part in this business. You are obviously going to post and PM me to death. The original poster asked for experiences with PPL and I have posted mine. As much as you may not like it, No, I will not remove it. You are more than welcome to post your experience stating how much you like the company and give a productive answer but I really do not appreciate the remarks you are aiming toward me. I really do not care if we become "mortal enemies" as you say. I did not post here to become your friend or enemy. If you want to act so childishly and take it that way, so be it. Not everyone will agree with you or be bullied into doing so. BettyAnn Getting married? Check out my website!
  22. Yeah, I could have copied all of that right from my reps site too. Bottom line is that when I asked her about geting help with child support and custody she couldn't help me. My kids are what is important. The rest of that stuff sounds nice but not what I'm looking for and most likely will never be used. That sounds like the same situation for freeflygoddess. I'm quite familiar with MLM and since your name is at the top of that website you're the one making the $ from your own usage and off each person who signs up with it. Not trying to hurt your business but its just not for everyone. Like I said...its my opinion. BettyAnn Getting married? Check out my website!
  23. I've been in 2 car accidents this year. The most recent one was VERY similar to yours. At first sight there were only a few scratches on my bumper and the man asked to pay me for it and keep it out of the insurance company's hands. I'm way too cautious (partly because its my new car) and I went ahead and called the police anyway just to have a report. Anyway, after taking my car in to be looked at a lot more was damaged inside & underneath than I realized. About $4000 in damage! Not to mention the neck & back pain that set in a little AFTER the accident. When you're first hit you tense up and don't really feel the pain much. Its when you start to relax that you get all the muscle spasms and pinched nerves. Not fun! I got hit in Sept and I STILL get pain from it. I agree with the people above. Get the police report ASAP and let your ins co know what happened. The sooner the better. I wouldn't do much more without talking to your ins first though. They have their own ways of doing things and have preferred repair shops to go through. Call them first thing in the morning or now if they're 24hrs! Good Luck! BettyAnn Getting married? Oh, my God

Yep, I paid about $300 for my Bev suit. You can get used suits for a range of prices and many stores sell new (stock) suits for cheaper prices. BettyAnn Getting married? Check out my website!
  25. They seem to be OK if you need them to go over paperwork or simple things like that. Anything much more involved forget it. There is actually some fineprint in their paperwork stating that they DON'T do family law like CHILD SUPPORT or CUSTODY! I was actually looking at them for the same reason but they can't do anything. Also, Identity theft is really quite uncommon. I think at last reported it was under 3%. Also there are a few free credit reporting sites that I've used that work just fine. I suggest skipping the monthly fees from PPL. I do know a few people who sell PPL and they are completely convinced that everyone should have it "just in case" but to me its just more $ that I could be using for many other things! (Like jump tickets!) Oh and I do have copies of their emails and paperwork if you want to know anything more about them without being pressured to buy from a sales person. Just my opinion.
