  3. He only has 8 jumps Chris, and not to say you not capable with your 66 jumps, but let him do some coach jumps and then maybe you should ask to jump with him. Just trying to keep it safe.
  4. Quote ealier on in the day the instructor told me he thinks its roughly 180 turn and i said nah the book says 90 and he is like well 180 , 90 what ever *** I doesn't really matter as to what degree of turn you do. We just want to see CONTROL. The point of doing a 90 is that we start you off with something small so you only have to do slight input and be able to stop somewhere around 90 degrees. Quoteso when i was in the sky i did 90 looked down at my alti and it read 5500 and i was having to much fun so i went to 180.*** Maybe what he should have asked you was, "What altitude are you to stop all turns and focus on your pull altitude Dude? www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

  8. And if she has to jump and use the parachute........ You'll also have to pay the cost of the first jump course if you survive!!!! www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  9. Here's my $.02 It depends on the jump I'm doing as to whether I choose to wear a helmet. AFF: ALWAYS. Ya never know what they are going to do. Tandems: Sometimes. Depends on the weather. Video: Duh... RW: Full face Oxygen FF: Open face Bonehead Birdman: Solo-NO. Flocking-Sometimes. It depends on how big, and knowing who's on it? I have only seen 2 people get knocked unconcious during freefall in the 12 yrs I've bee jumping. Monique's husband Tim was one of them back at an AFF course in 94, so I learned how fast and unexpected it can happen. Hope he wears one now? The other was an ALL Instructor FF ball jump. Thinking that your jumping with people that are good skydivers and the possibility of getting knocked out isn't going to happen, may be just when it happens? But also remember that its not always a knock to the head that can cause unconciousness! Any HARD impact to the body or even helmeted head can cause it. Try and be cautious as to you who you jump with and limit the chance of getting knocked unconcious by someone that may not be safe in the air. Plan a dive according to the ability of the skydivers on it, and DONT do bigways with low experience people.

  19. First of all buy what you can afford. If you can't buy things new, that are fit just for your body size, buy a used suit that fits you. A Freefly suit will be an easy fit as they are baggy. Or pants and a long sleeve shirt will work well and be affordable. An RW is not so easy for fitting a suit that is used, unless you know someone that is your body size. You dont want it to be baggy if you are a light person, thus you have to buy weights to make your fall rate relative to others, thus costing you more money? So, the RW suit will have to be a better fit, and probably better if you ordered it made for you, and the Freefly suit can be a baggy pair of pants and a long sleeve shirt costing you less. You can do both.
  20. It's better to recover from your line twist with your wings unzipped and your arms free. Should your canopy start into a dive with the twists, it's better to have your arms free to spread your risers apart. Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
