  1. Right on Ray! The 2nd one should be even better then the 1st! On a side note: I'm currently working on an "invitational" bigway that may take place over Lodi's wine country or Monterey's beautiful coastline here on the West Coast in California, so keep me posted on the dates of DeLand.? For those interested there are only going 21 slots for some tight formation and 3D skydives! PM me if your interested and with your experience level.
  2. Hi Courtney As Chucky said, front loops and back loops are about the same as if you were not in a wingsuit, but it requires you to be alittle faster starting them, and bringing in everthing tucked in until you exactly back on the heading you want or were on. As far as the barrel rolls. Keep your eyes looking into the same direction through the entire roll. Bringing in one arm in to your stomach, in the direction your wanting to roll, and be sure to close your legs together through the entire roll. as you body gets sideways with your shoulder to the earth, fold in your other arm and keep your eyes focused on your direction. As your back is to earth, do a quick head switch and refocus on diretion though your rotation until your almost belly to earth, then respread your wings and open your legs. What I have found while teaching this, is that students will sometimes not close the leg wing enough and as their shoulder drops, the legs will flop over and they will change heading, sometime as much as 180 degrees when they open the arm wings. Practice this and as I said, focus on maintaining and remembering your heading.

  5. SHIT! Nobody told me it was a job? Thanks Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  6. Jimmy Holiday RADIX Jules from South Africa *** Though I have seen the footage a few times, I think saying he's desending at 20mph is alittle off. The suit is VERY floaty though when flown by someone that is 6ft and weighs 125lbs-130lbs. Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  7. SSSSHHHHHHH Don't tell anyone, but it really is.... I also have one that looks like Chuck's when I want the Manson look! Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  8. The price you have to pay for a good hair cut these days goes beyond the money you pay for it..... Has anybody EVER seen me comb my hair before or after a skydive? NEVER Though I was thinking of getting my hair spiked and bleeched white....er...no, then I'd look like Jari Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  9. Lacing the suit up correctly and getting a gear check before getting on the plane is something you should ALWAYS do. If you are standing up striaght with your wings out, there is no reason your handles should move through the lacing and into the wing area when in flight. Good thing you were aware of this before you needed your handles in an emergency situation. Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  10. If you dont have a program to resize them, email them to me and I'll do it for you and post them. Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

  12. Nope. And the off airport landing was only because we had some confusion with the Porter on the exit, thus putting us WAY out. The break off was for the flockers on the back end of the formation to do a 180 and track the opposite direction of the way the formation was flying, and for the others to fan out into clean air. The descipline on break off was great which lead to them landing out, but we corrected it after the first formation load. Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  13. OK. Here is what I saw all day Sunday. Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  14. I do also. Maybe I should have clarified that more. It's great to watch how much ground your covering when doing a maxed out solo, along with making sure your flying an off set pattern to the jumpers that got out before you. Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  15. Looking only down can develope into a BAD habit when flocking with others. Keeping the head up and looking at the forward direction your flying is a MUST. I was "T boned" a few months ago as a result of someone with this habit. Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  16. This is so funny that it will boggle your mind, and you will keep trying at least 50 more times to see if you can outsmart your foot, but you can't. While sitting at your desk, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles. Now, while doing this, draw the number "6" in the air with your right hand, always starting from the top of the 6 down, making the circle at the bottom. Your foot will change direction. Please let everyone know if you were able to out smart your foot. Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  17. Average high's of 58-61 in the day and mostly jumpable. Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  18. Trust him, it did. Wish you could have made it Glen. Be safe. Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  19. Yo, For those that were not able to make it this year, make a plan to attend on the next one, as you won't want to miss something that is only going to get BIGGER and BETTER! The formations grew bigger and better as the weekend progressed, and with the solid base working as a team it gave everyone a great target to fly to, we hope Rickster got some great shots of the formations on Sunday. Here are some video grabs from some of the jumps that were downloaded onto my camera from Chris Ash, and a few taken from my camera view also. There is also a view from my camera on Sunday's sunset 3D formation of Loic over Scott, and myself over Chuck. And boy am I glad I don't have to stare at Scott Blands ass in the air anymore! Good job Ray and Great flying Flockers. Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

  22. Here is also another problem for that..... Lostinspace wrote: I tried so hard to get 16 people or even 12 … to charter out a boat. I would have taken my mom if needed. Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  23. Bring you GF and come and jump all you'd like in Lodi at The Parachute Center. 2 slots @ $15 each from an Otter or Beech 99 from 13,000ft Let me know when your heading this way.....
  24. Hawaii tends to have high winds at times, and you need to be at the DZ's when there are tandems if you want to jump. If your there only a few days your chances of jumping are limited IMO. If you do get to jump there you'll never forget the veiw though....
  25. I'd rather put it as "partcial owner". If the student doesn't pull at the asigned altitude as planned for the skydive, I will pull it for him. BUT, should I not be able to get to that pilot chute, THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE for the deployment of a canopy below 2000ft. Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
