ARGH! I'm telling ya! It's gorgeous here, but we're packing for our move next weekend. On the upside we both have total rigs now, ready to be packed up as soon as we arrive in NC by the rigger and jumped silly. Merrick's first jump on his first new gear...beer worthy for sure! That's very sad to hear. I hope the low-time jumper can come through this..it will be difficult I'm sure. Condolenses to friends, and family of course. This is a little scary and makes a good point for me also. A friend tried doing a headdown with me just last fall to show me how...frightening to think how it could've turned out. 'Nuthin

Hey! If you missed the weekend numbers, Merrick and I got a jump this weekend, so we're now current! Freefall and everything :) It's amazing how many steps 'back' you take not being current, but we'll be out to visit everyone and get caught back up! Merrick is taking my rig by CSS when he gets there today to get the reserve packed too so we'll be all set when we get there :) 'Nuthin

Wow, I finally have weekend numbers! 2 (number of times I threw up last night..good to know eh?):1:0 Finally got back in the air!! Yahoo! Well, had two jumps back in February, but hop n' pops, so no real skill practice. Then December before that. All the way up freefall in pretty blue skies, 70 degrees, soft winds Saturday. I forgot how much student gear sucks, though! Heavy and leaves bruising. DZO at OSC let us use the gear because Merrick's container isn't supposed to be here until today hopefully, and my reserve wasn't in yet. Then he and mother-in-law took care of each of our jumps too (late b-day and farewell gifts)!! Gawd it's good to be back up. Glad the flu didn't hit until Sunday evening! 'Nuthin
