  1. Thanks Zen :) Hmm...hadn't thought of Richmond....will definately have to try! Merrick kinda missed out on the whole Quincy thing last year with the leg 'mishap' :) 'Nuthin
  2. ROFL! I kinda like it when I get called that...but then again, when he calls me a "clit" in response to being called a dick it just makes me crack up too :) Gets me over my mad pretty quick..hehe BTW, being new to NC and all, I of course get to hear all about the Stanley Cup right now, something I'm not familiar with, but it was funny today when I heard them say that there was a Hurricane warning for Detroit. I thought "Shit, they have hurricanes there too?!" Duh. 'Nuthin
  3. Long time no hear Skreamer!! You'll always have a place here :) Their *is* a storage shed in the backyard and a big lawn to mow! Thanks guys! It was insane and very cool...saw a lot of the country I've never seen. We are finding everything finally in the house and will be at Raeford this weekend...they are working on getting our rigs repacked for us. I'm crossing my fingers on that one :) We'll miss you Slappie! And definately think about coming up sometime..you know you have a place to crash like you let us do! I'll even let you make me coffee again ;) I've seen several Starbucks around, though, and there is a kickass coffeehouse I've already been to several times in town! *Singing* Moving on up... hehe It amazes me how much they are willing to pay for just some typing around here! I must thank Sangiro for contributing to my 80 wpm speed :) lol 'Nuthin
  4. After a very long drive, a few not-too-serious mishaps and lots and lots of sweat, we are here! The house is gorgeous Merrick found for us, the area is perfect for us, and I've already went to a couple of interviews. What a beautiful place NC is! We're living in an area that is growing like crazy...still small (we're back on dial-up because we're even outside of the small town-cool little community though...perfect for the kids when they get home) but you can see construction going on everywhere. We spoke with someone who said he was the 5th house in his area, and two years later there are now 400!!! Crazy! Time to go check out Raeford and see about getting a hook-up on my reserve getting packed (or traded for something that WILL fit) before whatever meet they have going on this weekend. Wendy, I'll be calling you today sometime too! Woohoo! 'Nuthin
  5. Woohoo! I can't wait...I'm so excited! And since Merrick doesn't like beer, I get his share! :) Shit Clay! I'm glad you said something! I completely forgot about the kids..wonder where the hell I left them?? Probably out locked in the shed makin' those necklaces ;) Nah, they flew out Wednesday to visit their father in Pittsburgh, PA for a month, so we're kidless for a bit :) I miss them a LOT but it will make the move easier and job searching, plus get to have some fun for a bit. Welp, last post .. gotta take down the puter. Thanks guys! 'Nuthin
  6. Ah, I knew jumpers would know beer :) Thanks guys! One thing that WAS cool about OK was the whole "penny beer" nights at local bars! I *did* see they have a big "World of Beer" party thing in Sept. in Durham. Sounds a little like Octoberfest..but more fun ;) We're driving out tomorrow wingy! So just checking online stuff before we disconnect and pack it up. A whole weekend of driving with three dogs, two cats, a hamster, a fish and a frog..fun fun :) 'Nuthin
  7. Very interesting thread! There are some damn smart jumpers out there!
  8. Though I'm hoping to get my own little homebrewing thing going soon, until then, I'm looking to find out what I can expect as far as beer laws in NC. Please tell me Johnston County isn't a 'dry county' first off :) Okay, in OK, I found out the hard way a couple years ago that they don't sell COLD beer in a liquor store, nor do they sell anything but 'near-beer' in the convenience store (but it IS cold). (I loved TX where they don't even have near-bear!) So what's the rules? And what about Sundays? This is important stuff to know when moving to a new state 'Nuthin
  9. Good GAWD! Um, sweetie, just how did you find that?! Hmmm?? :) 'Nuthin

ROFL! That's hilarious! I have a friend who figured this out long ago I think...all he sends me is the p0rn :) What a great guy :) 'Nuthin
  12. Thank you Courtney for clearing that up! I don't want anyone to get wrong information. She said that a lot of people were calling the hospital and getting no where so thought contacting her directly might help. It definately has been a rough time here lately. I hope that it turns around soon. 'Nuthin
  13. Kelly from Crosskeys just called me and asked that I pass along her cell phone number to anyone who would like updates on a friend of hers whom was hurt today. I couldn't hear her clearly, and she was understandably upset, but I thought she said he was hurt at "Orange". Being unfamiliar with that area, someone could perhaps decipher that. But his name is Roff Fenton. She didn't give the details, and I didn't ask, but she *did* say he was in critical condition at this time. She could use support too, right now. He sounds like a close friend of hers whom was visiting her when the accident happened. Her phone number is 856-625-5176 Prayers to Roff. 'Nuthin
  14. Well, bein' frum Oklehomah and all, I'm not shur 'bout them Frenchie wurds and all...we jes call 'em THREESOMES in these here parts! 'Nuthin
  15. Guess that would depend on the wife ;) If it were me...I'd say only if I can 'help' too! 'Nuthin
  16. Thank you for taking the time to write this. It's a good lesson/reminder. I'm glad he's okay. 'Nuthin
  17. Yeah! Congrats! It'll just keep getting more fun from here :) 'Nuthin
  18. SWEET! I don't know enough about cars to understand all the mumbo-jumbo details, but she sure is pretty! 'Nuthin
  19. Sure! We'll certainly have room now! :) 'Nuthin
  20. ROFL! Well, actually, I just recently had to stop that...when your son starts noticing boobies, it's time to start covering yours :) But they'll be leaving for a month in a couple of days...I can have a 'nekkid month' :) woohoo! 'Nuthin
  21. I'm very sorry for your loss. Remember that you gave him a life that a lot of creatures out there aren't lucky enough to live, with a loving home, free of childish torture and meanness. They become members of our family and are often a comfort to us when people may not even notice we're hurting. They love us in an unconditional way that you'll rarely find in a human for so little in return. He is happy now, and free of pain. It's a good thing you did. It's hard, too, of course, but it was right. It would be selfish to keep something/one we love around to ease our pain, but draw out theirs. *hugs* Pam 'Nuthin
  22. DOH! Just gave the kids an eyefull :) LOL! Coulda been worse :) hehe 'Nuthin
