Man I'm glad I lucked out on this situation. The college I'm *hopefully* transferring to (mailed the admissions application today.wish me luck!*crosses fingers*) has a partnership with my current hell hole of a community college. When I expressed an interest in their institution they sent me a packet of every class my current college offers and its transfer counterpart at their institution. Luckily everything I've taken thus far looks like its going to transfer.I was taking an upper level class this semester but was told it wouldnt transfer b/c all upper level work is required to be completed at the higher education institute to receive full credit.So I dropped the class to lighten my load.*shrug* no point taking a class I dont get credit for/would have to repeat at the new college. Ferrets arent easy to own like a cat or dog,but they are easier than sugar gliders.I'm actually in the process of trying to find a good home for my ferrets because I'm transfering to a new university and wont be able to take them with me. "...just an earthbound misfit, I."

I was considering a sugar glider before I bought my ferrets.Let me tell you from what research I did they are ALOT of work. Its been said that they are the only animal known to literally die from lack of attention...you can feed them, water them and do everything right, but without attention they will just give up.Failure to Thrive Syndrome. I've talked to people who say they had to get little pouches and keep the gliders inside to take them to work with them because they werent home enough to leave them there.Its almost like having a child. I dont mean to deter you from getting one. There are tons of sites out there you can look up this information.I decided against it because I knew I wouldnt have the time to give a pet as much attention as a sugar glider needed.Good luck!

I've witnessed first hand what heroin abuse does to people. Even if it were legal it would still be abused.Like I said..this is IMHO. My dad is a recovering alcoholic.Theres a history there too. I didnt say all drugs were bad,nor all drug users were bad, nor that they should all be condemned.Its the blatent abuse I disagree with.Again, thats my opinion not my argument. I was in an abusive relationship with a heroin addict. I found out too late. It cost me several thousand dollars (of which he stole from me to feed his habit) as well as extensive emotional and physical abuse to my person. I have no tolerance or sympathy for drug abusers and legalizing such drugs as heroin is a grave mistake IMHO. "...just an earthbound misfit, I."
