Yup, drunk and bored.Maybe its time to pull out the DD list.I'll be up for awhile, so for those who have my #,if I dont call you then feel free to call me.teehee! "...just an earthbound misfit, I."

What the hell, its dark in the theater..I'd fish it out. I probably wouldn't reach down my shirt though as in via the collar or sleeves.I'd run my hand under the bottom of my shirt if it werent tucked in..seems less conspicuous. Then again, if you have a SO, just let them get it.I'm sure they wouldnt mind. "...just an earthbound misfit, I."

Yup I'm an avid CSI fan. I don't care for CSI:Miami and probably won't watch CSI:NY either. But I have the complete 1st, 2nd and 3rd seasons of the original CSI in DVD boxed sets. They really arent that expensive if you buy them from Wal-Mart rather than Blockbuster or places like that. IIRC each DVD set was about $35 at Wal-Mart.

I agree it'd be a good idea to have read some of the other books to get a better experience out of the Dark Tower series. But if someone doesn't want to go through all 40+ books and screenplays etc. I did notice that on the list of other King books printed inside Song of Susannah they had marked all Dark Tower related books in bold. There are about 15 books not in the DT series that pertain to or show up in the Dark Tower. Ofcourse it is a great story by itself and still worth reading without the background from the other books. Its just depends on how much you're wanting to get out of the experience.

Thats right, the wait is over. Dark Tower 6:Song of Susannah hit shelves today and I promptly took my little butt down to Barnes and Noble to pick up my reserved copy. Its now sitting on my bedside table just waiting for me to rejoin Roland and his ka-tet. Also, the final book, DT7:The Dark Tower will be out September 21, 2004. Just thought I'd give a heads up to the Dark Tower fans out there since I know there are a few on the forums.

How has your life changed in the last year?
moodyskydiver replied to lawrocket's topic in The Bonfire
Damn what a year it has been.In the last year I have: - Paid off ALL of my remaining $4K of credit card debt.Leaving me with just a monthly truck payment. - Attended my first WFFC and had a kick ass time even if it was sans jumping.Celebrated my 21st B-day there too! - Traveled to CA for the first time. Saw the beauty of the Pacific and had a blast at a semi-nekkid Perris pool party that supposedly didn't happen. - Got my first body piercing - Ended community college with 3 consecutive 4.0 semesters from SummerI 03-Spring 04. - Applied and was accepted to my #1 university choice, Sam Houston State University, where I will take up residence in Fall 04. - Made the choice to double major in Psychology and Criminal Justice rather than just a BA in CJ. - Finally let go of ALOT of emotional baggage. - Have learned to better cope with being Bi-Polar without taking medications. - Got my 2nd tattoo - Shortened my hair length by about 12inches for Locks of Love..still waiting for it to grow back out.lol! - Sold my gear and made the decision to quit jumping indefinitely (atleast until I finish school.) - Survived a broken heart. So much more that I'm not listing! Alot of things learned, loved, gained and lost. Just gotta keep going, looking to the horizon and hoping for the future. "...just an earthbound misfit, I." -
All that crap from DFW that delayed your flight came through here too. Its just now calming down after a couple of hours of power loss, 70mph wind gusts, massive rain/hail/thunderstorms and tornadic activity. We're ok and hopefully the animals braved things ok.So far we're just a little wind damaged at our place but we'll see how bad it is in the morning. "...just an earthbound misfit, I."

I thought DVC was a rather interesting read. I agree it was a nice blend of fiction/non-fiction and came across as a good read. I haven't done any research on the theories behind it and chose to read it for the pure entertainment value. I'm not a particularly religious person and lean toward the opinion that all religion is basically good since most work toward the betterment of humanity on an individual level as well as society as a whole. Way to go Lisa. You definitely deserve the greatness that comes with hard-earned achievements. Congratulations on your 1000th.

Yeah no kidding. I'll be spending 2 weeks (June 21-July 6) getting into mischief w/skybytch and helping out at the shop if she needs me.Hopefully I'll actually be helping rather than just a nuisance underfoot. "...just an earthbound misfit, I." -

Aww man! I LOVED Phantom of the Opera! Seeing that on Broadway is probably my favorite memory from my visits to NY. I want to go back and see it again so bad! I wish I'd seen it twice while I was there instead of going to Chicago the second time. "...just an earthbound misfit, I."

Bwwaaahahahaha!!!! Are you high? After babysitting these 4 little monsters (ages 11,9,7 and 4) I NEVER want kids. They havent even been here 24hrs yet I'm I'm already fantasizing of the biggest clothes hamper I can find, putting them in it upside-down and sitting on it! (yes I know I'm cruel and no I wouldnt actually do this b/c I know its cruel but its helping me hold onto the last thread of sanity I have. Not to mention it'd be harder to prove in court than going to the barn and getting a cattle prod!) "...just an earthbound misfit, I."

Happy B-day Jeanne! Heres an added bonus..you now share a b-day with my youngest nephew...my sister gave birth to a little boy today. "...just an earthbound misfit, I."

I worked at a western wear store in HS and my first yr of college and we had a subsudy type thing with a formal wear company for tux ordering. I've seen numerous non-western style tuxedos worn with nice dress boots and it actually looked pretty good. It all depends on the style of tux, boots and how "proper" you want your wedding. Just my $.02 "...just an earthbound misfit, I."

After over 24 hours of stress, tense phone calls, a sleepless night and total chaos in general my older sister gave birth to her 3rd child, Matthew Stuart. We've all been on pins and needles because he was born 9weeks early. The hospital she was admitted to had to transfer her by ambulance to Baylor hospital in Dallas(an hours drive away) after realizing they were unequipped to handle such a premature delivery and that they couldnt stop the labor. He arrived at 2:11pm today weighing 4lbs 6oz. We're not sure how long they/he will remain in the hospital b/c his lungs arent fully developed. But he cried on his own w/o prompting so thats a good sign and the hospital staff is optomitic. *sigh* I skipped out on the school field trip I've waited for all year to stay home watching over my sister's 2 kids and 2 step-kids while my parents visit the newest family edition. Atleast its over and hopefully there wont be complications. I'm an aunt...again.

Have you considered a degree in Victim Studies? The college I'm transfering to has an awesome Victim Studies degree program. I know its not just a women's issue but with your past experience in rape counselling it might be worth looking into. Before I decided to double major in Criminal Justice and Psychology, I looked into this program extensively. Heres more info from my university. SHSU Victim Studies Anyway, just an idea.

I believe its called The Creation of Adam which was from the fresco in the Sistine Chapel. Kai, tattoos are a very personal choice.Hopefully she can find a tattoo that expresses her personality and interests. Heres my newest tat from about 2 weeks ago.If shes interested in something similar or likes the Irish/Celtic knotwork I'd recommend Pat Fish as an awesome celtic tattoo artist. Good luck with the tattoo.
