    Sleep sex

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/3744226.stm first of all do you believe this? Second - would this be classed as rape? Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived.
  2. The majority of the US military that I have dealt with over the past 18 months have usually expressed one of the following sentiments: a) Iraq was a mistake and distraction b) It is a quagmire that they don't see the end of (this sentiment from includes a guy sitting next to me on the plane to Washington - just finishing his tour of duty in Baghdad and it was said in November 2003!) Not a single member of your armed forces that I have spoken to are not "loyal" to your president though. Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived.
  3. In history has any terrorist group been defeated using the "military" option? Genuine question as I do not know and I know that you were anti-war (certainly in the case of Iraq) and yet you appear to be implying that the US military can "beat" the terrorists. I realise that you directly refered to a "milatary battle" and not terrorists directly though. Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived.
  4. oh so that's what I am doing wrong - I should stop hitting on the female passengers in order to join the mile high club?? Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived.

  6. Hurricane hits Essex A major Hurricane (Shazza) measuring 7.8 on the Beaufort scale hit in the early hours of Monday. Epicentre: Basildon, Essex. Victims were seen wandering around aimless muttering "faaackin ell" ... The hurricane decimated the area causing approximately £30 worth of damage. Several priceless collections of mementos from the Balearics and Spanish Costa's were damaged beyond repair. Three areas of historic burnt out cars were disturbed. Many locals were woken well before their giro arrived. Essex FM (County Radio Station) reported that hundreds of residents were confused and bewildered, still trying to come to terms with the fact that something interesting had happened in Basildon. One resident - Tracy Sharon Smith, a 15-year-old mother of 5 said "It was such a shock, my little Chardonnay-Mercedes came running into my bedroom crying. My youngest two Tyler-Morgan and Megan-Storm slept through it all. I was still shaking when I was watching Trisha the next morning." Apparently though, looting, muggings and car crime did carry on as normal. The British Red Cross has so far managed to ship 4,000 crates of Sunny Delight to the area to help the stricken locals. Rescue workers are still searching through the rubble and have found large quantities of personal belongings, including benefit books, jewellery from Elizabeth Duke at Argos and Bone China from Poundland. HOW CAN YOU HELP? This appeal is to raise money for food and clothing parcels for those unfortunate enough to be caught up in this disaster. Clothing is most sought after, items most needed include: -- Fila or Burberry baseball caps -- Kappa tracksuit tops (his and hers) -- Shell suits (female) -- White sport socks -- Rockport boots -- Any other items usually sold in Primark. Food parcels may be harder to come by, but are needed all the same. Required foodstuffs include: -- Microwave meals -- Tins of baked beans -- Ice cream -- Cans of Colt 45 or Special Brew. 22p buys a biro for filling in the compensation forms £2 buys chips, crisps and blue fizzy drinks for a family of 9 £5 will pay for a packet of B&H and a lighter to calm the nerves of those affected. **Breaking news** Rescue workers found a girl in the rubble smothered in claret - 'Where are you bleeding from?' they asked - "ROMFORD" said the girl, "woss that got to do wiv it?" 7. I don't think many anti-war people on dz.com have denied that in the past Saddam a) Had WMD at some point b) Had WMD facilities at some point This article clearly states that the articles in question had UN seal on them PRIOR to the war to show that they had not been tampered with accessed without UN approval... There is no discrepency with the anti-war argument WMD facilities that had been disabled by the UN and subsequently monitored proves that they were "safe" facilities and not a threat. 8. yip - you're from the UK where gun crime is out of control and people get shot every 15 minutes btw - I like you're thinking a war for cheap assault weapons not oil makes far more sence its a better vote winner Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived.
  9. PJ the report is based on the fact that PRIOR to invasion the UN was monitoring these sights - now entire BUILDINGS have disappeared. Bush has goofed this one and there is no defending it... Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived.
  10. I think he had made up his mind - even the September dossier was fairly heavily caveated. Blair was clearly negligent though as it was only recently that he admitted to not knowing key facts - i.e. 45 minute claim details etc. And yes cutting defence spending now is stupid... 11. Granted the Lib dem's oppossed the war - I am just not keen enough on Charles honesty to want my tax to go up Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived.

  13. Attached are some direct quotes from the ISG (Iraq Survey Group) report. The report is available in full as a pdf on the BBC website if you want to remove any bias from me cutting and pasting.... It is interesting that peoples "belief" that Saddam would need their jobs again is taken as sinister proof of Saddams intent... 14. So should Blair be left to a purely political judgment on this or should it go on to the ICC? I am not sure the general British public care enough about Blairs lies over Iraq to choose Howard just yet though. Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived.
  15. In this instance it is a case of you make your bed you lie in it. The US & UK took it upon themselves to go to war in Iraq and therefore it is us poor sods who should pick up the bill. The UN nations that did not partake are not obligied to clean up our mess. I am not sure the world appreciate the USA being the police unilateraly either... I am not sure enough on the facts of who is funding the trial and imprisonment of Saddam as an individual to know who is footing that particular bill though? Paranoid

I work for the most paranoid person ever created. Wednesday evening 3 of us went out for a beer (small company of 8 people total) - beer consummed in the airfield pub and so cars left in front of the office (the office is on the airfield). The owner was so freaked he phoned me at 10pm to ask why we had a beer. Well to cap it all off Thursday he was in France, and everyone else but the same 3 of us were sick. This left 3 of us on a low productivity day - so we went to the pub for lunch... Now he is literally begging me to let me know what conspiracy is being brewed by the 3 of us. He is accusing me directly of "making" everyone else sick yesterday Not a rant - just extremely funny has anybody else had similar experiences? 17. If I understand you correctly then focusing on other aspects of Saddams life makes his overthrow a worth while byproduct of the war. While there is debate over WMD and the extent of his terrorist connections I do not believe there is any dispute over his human rights records. It is therefore conceivable that he could and should be held to account for his human rights & probably financial corruption charges. 18. jeez dude chill out a bit. One thing that this Iraq war did teach me - is NEVER to trust the media at all. I have resorted to reading original reports whenever I can as oppossed to newspaper commentaries etc and it is remarkable how "different" the two can be. Now part of that process is that I have a PDF copy of the September dossier produced by the british government NOWHERE does it state that there was an imminent threat - it was media waffle. Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived.
  19. Not at all - I am saying that Iraq was NOT an "imminent threat" either to you or us. I am saying and have said many times that inspections WITH the US forces on the border were working. Prior to the war I oppossed the timing of it - I wanted the UN inspectors to have the time they asked for - only 2 results would have come out of that - Saddam obstructed and the UN agree to attack, inspectors uncover that we have been duped for 12 yrs and he actually hasn't got any weapons. Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived.
  20. Ok well I do not think that Asia/Europe border is the classical definition of an ICBM - heck one of Kallends toy rockets is an ICBM in that case Ok so I stand corrected it was not 100km but 100 miles (150km is aproximately 100miles). However it was documented PRIOR to war that the extended range missiles could achieve a whole 193km!!! Wow that means that it could go less than 10% of the distance to the USA! http://www.globalsecurity.org/wmd/world/iraq/samoud.htm Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived.
  21. Not even the exaggerated intel claimed that Saddam had Intercontinential ballistic missiles. There was absolutely NO evidence or intel that he had such capabilities. The banned SCUD missiles where not ICBM's either? For that matter how many countries even possess ICBM capabilities? Possibly only you and Russia - I am not even sure that the UK has the means? The UK government allowed and encouraged our tabloid press to portray the false impression that we were less than 60 miles from Iraq's borders and hence were threatened. Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived.
  22. The USA is a major and dominant player in the UN - are you saying that your government colluded in this? Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived.
  23. I would say that Bush has showed "gross incompetence" on the world stage. I would argue that he has made the world a more dangerous place for the average US citizen. He has just about single handedly undermined and weakened international diplomacy - who knows when those attributes may be needed to avert a major crisis in the future? Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived.
  24. If it was a threat to the US then no you don't need international consencus. But even the "prohibited" weapons that Saddam was developing only had a 100km (60 mile) range which mean't that they could POSSIBLY reach bases in Cypress but not much else. Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived.
  25. I think you missed my point - I am saying that it was NOT hindsight as the MAJORITY of the security council was against war - BEFORE and not AFTER the fact. As to who's fault the softer attitude towards weapons - heck probably everyone who holds a high political office in all 5 countries that make up the permanent security council for a start - but now with the benefit of hindsight it was actually working Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived.
