You obviously don't ride bikes! Bikes are a man's sex toy. I am told that women are partial to certain types of bikes for the same reason they like certain seats in a skyvan. Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived.

The R6 had 0 miles on the clock when we got it - brand new registration and it has held it's price (admittedly from a Yamaha sponsored special offer). I think fuel costs are driving bike sales up. Have you put fuel in your car recently - wife filled up the other day £80 for a tank! Can't wait for April when it is going to go up again. Yes without doubt the nicest bike I have ever riden. It is amazing how good a deal we got originally and how well it has kept it's value. Both bikes that I have owned have kept their value unlike cars - the Fazer lost £500 over 4 years but was 2nd hand. I guess how much of a compliment is based on the price you set right? Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived.

Early last year my wife surprised me with a nice brand new R6 for my birthday. Well the joys of the current economy we haven't had new business for 3 months now and it is time to start tightening our belts if we intend to stay afloat. So today we phoned the shop to start the process of selling it. The only "good" thing about this is we got it on a special offer from Yamaha and we won't lose any money on the bike despite buying new. With any luck business will pickup before the bike goes. I find the time line interesting. 377 aren't most "petty" criminals caught? It is interesting that he has simply vanished. Is there any evidence that Mel had any exposure to Aircraft and parachuting or is this a major gap in his potential fit? On the assumption that the jump was unsuccessful I don't believe experience is required - but the Tina testimony suggested that the hijacker put on the harness like they knew what they were doing - so some familiarity should be assumed. Firstly are you sure the tire is bald? Many sports bike tires don't look to different to that on the shelf. Secondly improvisation really impresses me - I like seeing people think laterally. Yes Man!! This tire was really bald! At least on the center. You can see in the center (not at this picture) the metal lines inside the material.. It was my boss's bike and I am motorbike technician.... And the reason for that was a very small stone..!! To understand the shape of the tire :-))) Ok thanks for the explanation. I just asked cause my bike is essentially "slick" (very similar to your picture). My bike has

I can't believe how far he pushes the envelope. The joke with the hating the kneeling, standing etc - just pick a position and fuck is a good example (but very funny) First heard of him when he was at our local theatre recently. Anyone come across Jimmy Carr? These are a couple of my favourites. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means. I dunno doesn't everyone like a fur burger now and again How about ankle-biter? The only meaning of ankle-biter that I know is a small child - is there another? Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived.

It appears to me that Vicki's posting style and quiet "laid back" attitude hasn't really prompted much "sleuthing" from those who like to dig. If she is up for it then I suggest some of guys who really like digging (377 (aka Snowman's proxy), Georger etc turn the spotlight on that lead. My bets are that it is a dead-end street but from past experience when people start digging some really interesting stuff is churned up from old newspaper articles. For ease of access here is Farflungs list from some time ago. Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived.

Sorry Orange but isn't one of Vickies possible clues that her father was not seen or heard of since 71. This means he MIGHT still be a possible suspect? Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived.

A stupid question and showing ignorance on my behalf. I assume that when the person cuts away and swings under the belay point a fair amount of strain will be exerted on the chest strap? If that is the case are they safely rated for that type of loading as I am guessing it will be tending to pull inwards and upwards (towards the persons chin). In a similar vein do you need to perform any extra checks on the chest strap prior to suspending your weight from it? Sorry Jamie didn't mean to offend you. I agree that you answer questions. I think for the most part Vickie appears to be much more open to the possibility that her dad might not be Cooper - that is what I find attractive. It could simply be a factor of how people come across on the internet and it wouldn't be the first time I was wrong. I will save you the hassle - I never will figure out who the trainer was. Take my comments how you like - so far on this thread we have a couple of pet DB Coopers 1) Duane 2) Kenny 3) Jammies Dad 4) Vickies Dad It seems for the most part that people supporting "their" Cooper candidate don't like being asked questions - but are happy to shoot at others. I am pretty impressed by Vickies approach and it really stands out from the rest. We'll never see eye to eye on this so peace and out

So, what would YOU do? skydiving related...;)

Yes the guys could be very derogatory towards SL students - how hard is it to step through a door? It is interesting thinking about group associations: I like to be seen as a skydiver. I don't like to be seen as a "biker" - I ride bikes. Other areas that people differentiate: Have a fuck, versus being a fucker or have a wank - not be a wanker. Generally speaking in sport or hobbies there are 3 categories. Those who have tried, those learning and those who are. Swimming is a good example, you are either learning to swim or you are a swimmer. Well known examples of trying something out - helicopter/aircraft trial flights and I would lump a tandem in with those.
