The profile thingie is not working for some reason, it's been reported to 'Error and bug reports'.

>Say, I saw a funny thing in FHM the other day. It's called an "orgasm >delaying headboard banner" Care to guess how it works? It has a picture of Roseanne naked?

>The moral of the story is.... Whenever a fly goes down three inches... >Some pussy is probably in danger Ha ha.

>I was under the impression that if two people are involved >in a wrap, that the lower person should NOT cut away because >it could wrap the top guy up more. The bottom guy should stay >put until the top guy frees himself or he cuts away I only have around 10 CF-jumps, but this is not what I remember from the briefings. Think about it! If the top guy, with a functioning parachute, cuts away and falls on the bottom guy, is that going to improve the situation? What I have been told is that the jumpers should attempt to communicate about the situation, and if the bottom jumper can't get an answer out of the top jumper, the bottom guy should cutaway(since the reason the top guy didn't answer could be the lines around his neck choking him). Jussi are you lurking? Did I get it about right? (it's been over a year since my last CF jump...)

Kerry: >They've got better things to do than sift through yet another >mindless post They do? Ok then.that embarrassing huh? Nacmac: We're trying to gross out brits here, I'm afraid they might have seen haggis before. At least it's less likely to have a novelty value for them... And nacmacfeggle is spending his time in suspended animation as we agreed...

> is there anything disgusting you can think of from the >Finnish CREW that we could get them to try? Well CReW is pretty scary but I wouldn't call it disgusting.. I wonder if you could find any mämmi anywhere this time of year? That at least looks pretty gross...

This from another thread: >>as for the nickname? naaaa .... it's a boring story, really .... and a >>long one .... and not really related to skydiving, it just kinda stuck .... > >We will know no peace until you tell us the story... It's not like you have >something better to do now is it? Go on Blue, spit it out...

>Erno are you going to the club tomorrow for Tuomiopäivä? Nope. >Saturday morning I'm planning to get the sober ones and >go skydiving, weather permitted. Nothing like a freezing >exit from 3000ft vai mitä Erno? Ft? What are those silly things? I only jump in metric...

>My timesheet is signed, and its off to the accountant to get >some beer tokens later on. Wanna buy me a beer? I managed to practise some reckless spending after my last pay day(the 15th) and now I have 39€ left until the next one(the 15th next month...) I'm going to have to use some of my savings it seems. stupid asshole learn some financing goddamnit you wanna live on rice for the rest of your life huh? Oh. Now it's raining here. To hell with it, I think I'll just burn my savings on beer too!

>Tell me about it. The thing is beer always gives me a huge >hangover. I usually get pissed on something with more sugar >in it. Rum and Coke being a favorite. Like fudd said, pretty much of the hangover is caused by dehydration, so I try to remember to drink a lot of something non-alcoholic before going to bed after a night out. Half a liter of apple juice is a common choice for me, and another half a liter if I happen to wake up in the middle of the night. Really works wonders.

The autumn is a bitch. And she ain't my bitch, either. Looks pretty gloomy in Scotland too.

>Hey It seemed like an excellent idea at the time I know: "I've been at work with a hangover before, it's not that bad. Really it's not. Yeah, I'll have another beer." And when the drinking gets totally out of hand the trick is to drink and stay up late enough, so that you'll still be drunk when you have to wake up and get to work. Unless you commute by car. Or work as a pilot. Or as a nuclear safety inspector on sector 7G. >Oh well I have two mugs of coffee in me. Greasy junk food > is on the way and I am feeling much better. It only hurts >when I move my head. A few hundred mg of ibuprofen wouldn't hurt either...

>I am currently hungover, sleep deprived and to top it all I got >stuck in traffic for an hour. I feel for you, I was there a couple of days back.... What a dumbass, drinking in the middle of the week...BWAHAHHAAHAA >Oh BTW Erno...my eyes look like piss holes in the snow....an >image that you will be all to familliar with really not feeling too well then? The usual advice stands: remember to drink enough and if possible eat some greasy junk food(works for me anyway).

At my DZ yes, but you'd have to say at designated areas. Meaning there will be no mingling of people with rigs on and people with a beer in their hand. Or you could go to the bar a few hundred meters away.

>How's the weather in Finland it sure stinks here in Melbourne - >overcast with sqlly showers. Ahhh spring in southern Oz... +6C, overcast, showers, high winds. Warmer than yesterday, if you insist on something positive...
-
Don't bother. A Falcon loaded at 1.1 isn't going to fly that much better with either option. If you insist on doing something, a kill-line slider and mini-risers with soft-links would be my suggestion.

None of the "Full Profile" links work for me.. not my own, not anyone elses. They worked yesterday just fine...

Morning everyone! You beat me to it... The first post of the morning that is. (No, you americans don't count, you should be in bed by now anyway!)

Opera has a setting for suppressing pop-up windows, among dozens of other useful little features. It's also much faster than Netscape. The only minus is that the javascript support sucks, but hey you can't win all the time. The JS support is supposed be improved in the next version. Erno

The question would probably get more attention at the Gear and Rigging forum... Do a search there, it's been discussed many many times. I jumped the Electra a couple of times, no complaints, even got a nice little swoop out of a 170. It's partly made of traditional fabric, so it's easier to pack than a canopy made completely out of ZP. The PD Silhouette is pretty similar, I think.

I wonder if the car owner appreciated the fine art?

I just composed a new message on my yahoo-account and sent it to my DZcom account, no problems.

>He feels it's "unprofessional" to call people "Freak" or "Cajones" and > wants the staff to call each other "Jason" and "Ed." Whaddya' think? Unprofessional my ass! Calling people "Freak" and "Cajones" just gives the guys in question much more DZ-credibility. I bet the DZO is just jealous because he doesn't have such a cool name!

Despite the name, the attachment is quite work safe.
