Go to the Farm, Don't be dazzled by the so called "fleet" of aircraft of ASC. The Farm has everything you need, better atmosphere, better management, better morals, more professional, and best of all, you won't get roped in to the whole Skyride debate.

You clearly don't have any power to affect the outcomes of it, otherwise you wouldn't be wasting bandwidth here. I have no dog in this fight, and I really don't care about SR one way or another. I will mention that in the 15 odd years I've worked at our drop zone, not one jumper has ever asked us to stop taking SR customers or expressed an opinion on them. It's only fait to assume that most jumpers don't really care that much as long as they are getting on planes. Ok, with respect for your opinion that the Skyride issue is not a concern of your's, your friends and DZO, what would happen to your naive position on this issue if/when your DZO is charged as an accomplice of Skyride's business practices. Aside that, is your DZO content with selling himself short by allowing Skyride to take a cut of his and his staff's hard work?

I read where that DZ is either closed or getting ready to close. Nonetheless, Skydive the Farm would be a better suggestion for that area.

D.B. Cooper committed one crime and got away with it and to my recollection, that's the only thing he was known for. Now Skyride on the other hand, has committed multiple crimes and continues to do so and is doing irreparable damage to a sport we love and other sports that others feel the same about. D.B. Yep! I keep asking how someone could be so fucking stupid to let someone like Fincher get any kind of job like that. So far, nobody has any answers.

You know, I find it humorous that you referenced two of the more common Skyride websites to make your example. Sure REAL DZ's have multiple sites, but they all point back to one site, Skyride uses lots of sites that stay independent of each other and deceptively leads people to think the locale is where it's not.

You are correct on all but the Waverly FBO, you may not know that when Skyride got in to Waverly, they somehow got the existing FBO to go away, I heard they bullied him in to resigning and then they got Fincher ( ) in as the FBO. So the correction is that the Waverly FBO does play in their favor. As for the fuel bill, Since the FBO, being Fincher, is supposed to be responsible for the fuel sales and making sure that the money is correctly handled and collected, shouldn't he be held liable for that? Another question I have about that is, what qualifications does Jeff Fincher have that makes him qualified to run an airport? That needs to be investigated by the authorities.

I received an email this weekend that stated that Skyride/ASC has lost their ability to operate at Cedartown, but even though the source is good, the email did make it clear that at this point, it was second hand information. Can anyone verify this?

No so! 1 800 Skyride and ASC brought all the shit on themselves! He is just one that has been successful at exposing the crimes of the company that you guys seem to want to defend. Eddie (skydive4u2) knows! I didn't see him defending them, he just slammed Jumpdude for exposing the type of company the skyride is. He, as many have tried before, tried to redirect the conversation from the facts of the scam to the amount of jumps someone has. It is not an issue of how many jumps someone has, actually, other than it being the sport of skydiving that skyride is scamming, the info he puts out has very little to do with skydiving.

You guys just need to keep posting the info online, but outside of dz.com like you have been, it's working and people are getting your message and taking heed, therefore the other dropzones are benefiting from your efforts.

You have got to be shitting me! A NON USPA GM drop zone is going to conduct a coach course? As far as I can tell this coach course is not even registered with the USPA, so if it's not, wouldn't that make this course null and void? All I can say is I recommend that the candidates really consider where they are spending their money, because that may be all they are doing.

It's pretty sad when a thread gets started on this issue, a mod gets in here and says to post the screen shots, you guys posted them and go out of your way to get as much info in here as possible and the mod comes back and says he's working on it, then it gets posted about how little effort it takes to block said domains, and yet, the ads just keep running. If the info that got posted about the process to block those is as easy as described, What's the hold up guys?
