  1. I can usually pack in under 20 min unless someone is talking to me. I screwed myself over with my wife one time cause she would ask why I'd be so late getting home from the DZ and I'd tell "well I gotta pack my chuteand that takes me about an hr, fill out my log book, put everything in my gearbag, ect ect ...it all takes time". Then about 3 weekes later I was packing it at my house and she was watching me and when I finished in about 20 min she said "hey I thought you told me it took you like an hr to pack." DOH!!!! jason
  2. Make sure you cook it a little linger now, we dont want any meat to be pink around the middle.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! jason (ok that was bad)

  6. I choose mine at first cause its only 5 min away from my house, but after going there wweekend after weekend and getting to know people its a really nice atmosphere and the facilities are great. Its also nice to walk into a place where as soon as you do everyones like "hey so and so what up". the only downfall is that the EXIT ALT isnt is high as our nieghbors to the south! I have visited our other DZ and it seems to be a very freindly place also. But for me being a newcomer to the sport its a little intimedating because there are a lot of FF'ers there and well .....what can I say I'm still trying to learn that disepline and .....no disrespect but you guys just intimedate me. All in all both DZ,s are a blast to jump at. I'll jump at either or!!!! jason

  14. If my lines go slack I just milk them up into the slider to keep them tight. I've seen this done by many and its even on the malfunction video "breakaway" as a way to reduce tension knots! jason
  15. I dont know how your doing it but this is what I do (I am a lefty so you may have to do this with your other hand ). After I'ver rolled the nose and everything is in its place I hold the lines (up to the slider ) with my left hand bend over and grab the center of the trailing edge with my right, pull it over the canopy and hold it with my thumb of my left hand. Then grab with my right hand and bring one side around. and with that same hand bring the other side around. Now when I 'm ready to roll the tail I still have it ( the canopy lines) in my left hand I turn 45 degrees to the right, grab both edged of the tail and use my foorward leg which will be my left leg to roll the tail against . This keepes pressure on the roll and keeps stability while I'm rolling it . I dont know if that works for everyone but I get a nice tight roll all the way downand its never fallin apart when I set it down. Hope this maybe helps. Coarse you 'll probably want to ask someone with more exp!!! jason

  21. Sounds to me from the post on this subject that the best approach is to put it in a low profile bag and stick with a dont ask dont tell method. If someone approaches you then you can deal with them. Glad to here you got around ok though!! jason (what is this the "jason" thread

  23. Hey MM go to www.para-gear.com and click on RESERVE CANOPIES. There they have the Super raven and DASH-M series. I tried to copy them but it wouldnt let me. That should maybe help you out! jason
  24. I dont know about wings but when I got my new rig(talon2) My DZO had ordered it, and when it came in he put the guts (main, reserve,ect...) in it. and the card was filled out with max weight for reserve, max air speed for deployment on reserve, type reserve, when it was packed , and a few other things I dont remember cause I'm at work and cant look at it!!! I would think something should be written on it jason
