I'll just squeek in my answer. Do I think DZ should regulate the use of AADs...NO.. Is it there choice to do so......YES..Do I think thats right.......NO........As for me I do not fly an AAD. My reason is $$$. I feel confedent enough to pull my handles. If I didnt I wouldnt be in the sport. What happens if I go unconcious.......thats simple....if I dont regain I die.......my wife become rich!!!!! Will I ever get an AAD...maybe. But this is MY choice and the risks I accept. As for everyone else I respect your thoughts and your desicions to do what you have to do to feel comfortable and confident in your abilities!!! jason jason

HA ha ha.... yes they do have TV on sundays other than that confrence thing!!! Not all of in this state are mormon. I was lucky to marry into a family that does not believe in the mormon fiath. No offence to any LDS here but when you live in there world head quarters it can get pretty bad. YOU wouldnt believe the judging of people that goes on here if your not LDS. It makes it even harder when you have no religion and do not believe in any form of a god!!! ......but I get by jason

Thats what I was taught.........Quote from "breakaway" If you look up and DO NOT see your slider, you have a streamer. This malfuntion is non correctable...you must cutaway and pull your reserve!" They then go on to show the diff between a snivel (slow opening ) and a streamer. You can clearly see theat with a snivel you will see your slider and 4 seperate line groups. With the streamer you see nothing but a ball of shit dancing around. That is what I got out of it jason

My wife has the same problem. Its mostly all I watch. I've take my little girl out to the DZ enough times that now she loves to see the planes, so now she likes to watch it with me too!!!!!. And when theres skydiving on she says " thats daddy".......And of coarse I cant let her down..so I say Yup thats daddy...(yeah I wish that was me on TV) So then of coarse I just HAVE to stick in my jumping videos of us jumping so she can really see daddy..............MY KID KICKS ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats good info ducky,, I know at my DZ they didnt ask me to join. They just said if you want your A lic you have to be a member. So when I took my test I sent in the Application for member ship in with the test. But then again We didnt have proficency cards yet either. jason

You know what.... it scares me to think that I never thought about that. Not being stable during a cutaway and waiting to get stable. Waiting to get stable from a 1000-1500ft chop could really mean some trouble. Thank you for bring this to my attention. Guess I better go over some things in my head!!!! Makes me wonder how many other thing I'm not clearly looking at jason

NOOOO no no no no....you have to have at least 210 jumps to start tandems,,,,, so go ahead and fly your camera for 10 jumps after 200 and then start you tandem coarse!! jason -TROLL TROLL TROLL!!!!!!!!!!

Trying to turn a piont in an 8 way while cruising under 4000ft!! I guess thats not too crazy but with only about 40 jumps at the time it got my heart pumping!!!!!! jason

Marshman.. ..yeah they do play things over and over, but in the case of EXtreme air thats a good thing cause I usaully miss the 7 pm show, but I know it will be on again at 11pm. And tes skyhawk I did mean BOOBIES!!!!! jason

Kelly, If you can get Disc Wings channel. they are always having cool skydiving stuff on a show called EXTREME AIR. Its on every sunday at 7pm Utah time. Sometime they show airabatical (spl??) planes, and speed gliding and just a lot of cool shit!! jason

Hi gia! The trip was great!!!! except for the rain and all , but we still had a really good time and got some good jumping in and met some great people (pilot carl, dereck, mitchel, and a few more) I asked marsha (she was great!!!!) about you and she said she hadnt seen you around, and I also asked about shark but I didnt see him either. I knew mandy was in coolidge so I figured some of you all went there also. Anyway we had a great time at the party you guys threw for everyone at the coyote grill. We partied with some of the Brits that were there and they were a riot

Thanxs for the input!!! And riggerrob,I have that manual (own a 2001 Talon 2) and have read the proceedures....nicely done!! I've just got started into this sport april of 2001 and I always heard that reserves were flat packed so when I heard that more riggers are going to a propack I thought this was all new. Didnt realize its been around!!! thanxs jason

Hey lisa...why do they say pull the reserve...I would think if you went for the main first it would at least get you stable (somewhat) then if that twists all up you can cut away stable and wip out the reserve. Just curious!! jason

Tell ya what...I'd have no problem with an AAD firing at 1000ft for me!!!!! My first question would be what the hell was I doing at 1000ft w/ no chute in the first place!!!! (this is assuming your at termianl when firing!!) jason

This statement is actually true, because I dont understand the flight charactoristics of flyng and releasing jumpers verses just flying a group of people around. When it comes to flying I understand the basics, but I dont understand the differences in disiplines I guess you could call them. I'm just tring to find out what makes it hard to fly jumpers. Just trying to learn something!! jason And just for shits and giggles it is very very easy to fall and pull a rip cord.....its what happens imediatly after thats the tuff part
