I'm all over the video. The Mark II has a big-ass flash on it for McGowanesque aerial artistry. Dunno if they're launching tandems from the Van, but been there, done that. It's a nice exit for video. Is that your biological clock making that noise?

Look, I'm retired, and I don't interfere with other people's business anymore, and I didn't then, unless they made enough of a commotion to require attention. No party is really "good" unless the cops come. It's a benchmark of quality. Unfortunately, you don't get to choose which cops come, and some of them are dickheads. The easiest solution is to have parties that aren't as good, so neighbors don't call the police. Meet up with me someday and I'll tell you the story of my Police Academy Graduation party. My house, drunken new Deputies on the lawn doing pain compliance holds on each other, City cops show up and get into a massive brawl with one of us rookies and the rest of us join in. Day one with my new badge I'm staring down the barrel of the pistol of a reservist. Man, that was a good party!

That's a pretty stellar hangover when you don't know what day it is. It's the quiet before the storm. I'll be debuting the New and Improved DeuceCam Mark II, Mod 0 helmet at the boogie. We should be able to get one or two good photos

Oh, shit. Well, at least this time you know what she looks like, but getting there not wasted, and then driving back without getting lost is really gonna suck. Well, compared...

Test us out? What are we used cars??? I will not be tested out! (Muenkey experienced a brain-fart. He regains his composure before SM1, or any of a plethora of painmakers have to get out of their comfy chairs) "Lift your hands from the keyboard and back away slowly"

LOL.. hey, Just cause I wasn't jumping in it, doesn't make it TOO windy ;) Vic was trying to talk her into it too, telling her that it's actually easier when it's windy.. They were doing tandems out of the Cessna Thursday, and man, it was WINDY! I wasn't there, but there's great video of a nice, soft landing, a gust, and a magnificent, huge tandem canopy ground-chop! Yesterday was beautiful. USAboogie. Three days.

This is a point that causes a lot of confusion to folks. There is searching for stuff in a way that will allow the cop to take what he finds to court for prosecution, and there is "dirty searching". Specific, articulable (articulatable?) facts must be necessary to constitute "probable cause". Stuff with "I saw" "I heard" "I smelled" combined with the words "In my training and experience". -Juveniles were said to have "crashed" the party (tresepassers) and "The smell of burning marijuana was coming from the rear of the house". Go back, see a rape in progress, everything is upheld in the preliminary hearing. Dirty searching: After a while, some cops are very keen at sensing something is up, but don't have articulatable facts to justify probably cause. They take you out of your car "for no reason" and search it. They find machine guns (or kidnap victims, or any contraband, illegal stuff) in your trunk. They take that stuff, but you can't be prosecuted because the search was illegal. Generally, if I took a pound of meth out of your car, you are not inclined to try and prosecute me for searching your car "for no reason". Clearly in the end there was a reason, cause I found the meth, or the dead body, or whatever. Searches that stem from inadequate probably cause are called "fruit of the poisonous tree". So, try thinking in terms of whether something is prosecutable, versus "Legal". Everybody wants it to cut their way. If a kid turns up missing and cops start tearing people out of cars and dirty searching trunks, the kid gets saved, but the prosecution is lost. It's a very cool, complicated business. Whoo-shah! JP

WRONG! BZZZZT! Katie, you don't shampoo with Woolite.

Ach, when I read it again it really wasn't that funny. Poisoning sheep to see how long they can take it before they die is really, really wrong. Even for Clay.

Tragic. I'm sure you knew several of them personally. My sincere condolences ***News: Casper | Wyoming | National Hundreds of sheep die after eating toxic plants SODA SPRINGS, Idaho (AP) - More than 300 sheep grazing near a former phosphate mine died last month after eating plants contaminated with selenium, a waste product from mining. The sheep were part of a two-year study sponsored by the University of Idaho and the J.R. Simplot Co. to determine how animals react to selenium in the environment. They were grazing by the now-defunct Conda phosphate mine, which is owned by Simplot. Scientists blamed a plant called Curlycap Gumweed, which absorbs high levels of selenium from the soil. Selenium is a naturally occurring element that is toxic in high levels. Greg Moller, University of Idaho associate professor of environmental toxicology, said researchers did not anticipate the deaths. ''There's no doubt there's tragedy here. This was not planned,'' Moller said. Last summer, the research team gave 72 sheep varying levels of selenium in vegetation and water, and only one elderly sheep died, Moller said. They allowed the 1,400-animal band to graze in the mining area beginning May 19 this year. By May 25, the sheep began to die. Preliminary tests show the Curlycap Gumweed plants had selenium levels about 40 times the recommended maximum. Simplot spokesman Rick Phillips said researchers did not include the plant in their earlier tests. ''Gumweed wasn't even on the radar,'' Phillips said. The Conda mine was opened in 1906. Simplot bought the mine in the 1960s and closed it in the 1970s. Because mining guidelines were less stringent in the past, Phillips said, the contaminated soil is probably near the surface. Phillips said the research was a breakthrough. ''It's shocking to see so many sheep die, but we're learning so much more than we did before,'' Phillips said. The sheep owners will be reimbursed. In 2001, more than 150 sheep died from selenium poisoning in the Conda mine area. In 1996, horses in the region died from selenium poisoning.*** It's really too baaaaaaaad.

Note to self: DO NOT TAN NUDE!!! Certainly not without video and stills.

My man, it WAS too windy. Me and Clay were just jumping because we're stupid. Ask anybody. I won't be out Sunday, I'm out Saturday. I'd love to help you move, but you gotta ask sooner. I gotta work (crap I love saying that about skydiving) American Boogie, dude. LET'S GET IT ON!
-
Minister of tourism. Hook it up with direct deposit and I'll never bother you again. I can write you speaches and stuff too. "Read my lips, all loads to 18K" and like that.
-
Usually it starts with something like "Dude, you gonna be out on Saturday?". Pounding on my door at 3 AM is likely to result in weird stuff requiring medical attention, and helicopters. "How did this happen" "Well, I'd let her explain it, but she's outside having a smoke. Surgery? Really?" Stuff like that

There is no such evidence! If there was - I'd blame it on my evil twin, Michelle. Not quite 130 but hell it feels like it. I'm over the hump with 5 months behind me. I have exactly 4 months left! I haven't started counting the days yet! YEAH! That's just 16 weeks! Like a Semester where you don't like any of the classes, and I bet you can go out and get a tan in about 45 seconds!
-
You mean the naked pics of you at the pool in Eloy? Bwah! Or the naked pics of SM1? Damn, woman! How many days you got left? Is it REALLY 130F on the ground?
-
Screw it! get in the car right now and head south! http://www.weather.com/weather/detail/USCA0147?dayNum=1

It's this one (low res clicky version). Clay I'm emailing the digital image to you. Just give me photo credit if it gets on Ovine X-Games Quarterly. On second thought..

Holy Cow. You're more than welcome, Clay! It was really nice having you visit my DZ, and finding out you are nothing like the asshole personality you project online. So the Shutterfly experience was good? Glad to hear it. Actually I think I'm owing beer, cause that's the biggest print I've sold so far. Cheers Dude! Until next time! JP

Just slur a lot, cross your eyes, and blurt out cuss words. Works for me. Oh, and I pretend my wife is in there to help me as my personal assistant. "I'm a good driver. I drive the car. I drive in the driveway. Time for Judge Wopner."
-
OK. Well, we'll have a mini-Bytch DZ.boogie whenever you get around to it. You were easier to pin down on this stuff back when you were a career-woman and all. Maybe Lodi, for when you get up, closer to Stockton and all, plus you'll be all gooey-eyed from getting pounced upon and pouncing. Dates. We got Lummy-ways and shit to plan. Good golly I am wound-up. Hooty-hoo! Beer tomorrow at Byron. My 500th!

I had to check. This isn't the womens' forum. WTF?

The only reason it's on my radar is it's got a good start time tonight. 6:30, time for a light dinner and a drink before at Left Bank in Pleasant Hill. I want to see Italian Job, but it starts at 7:30 and the sitter is only booked until 9:00. REALLY sounds like it belongs in the who's gonna be 40 thread, you think?

What? Is this like what some little girl with bone disease sings? "To-marrow, to-marrow, I need some, bone-marrow, to keep the sickle-cell at BAY!" Yeah, it's sick. But that's why they call it a symptom. "He's singing wierd bone-marrow songs to the Annie theme" "Yes. He's sick" "Oh"
