  1. Heheheheee, funny pics. You know why men die before their wives?.................... Because they want to lol My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!
  2. Sounds like a plan and a half!!! I never get ice cream! In mine (and I never had this dream until my buddy told me about his), I track for a hay bail and plow straight through it, a couple somersaults later, I'm sitting up covered in hay and grass. I think everyones BEST bet is to hit a swamp or marsh area. You should hope to have a support group to dig you out afterwards. I've heard of WWII paratroopers bodies found 8-15 feet deep in marsh, intact.... drown My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!
  3. Yeah so that they can collect ALL your mortal remains by simply picking up your helmet I'd track for a hey bail... 'cause that's what i do in my bouncing dreams My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!
  4. Hahahaha! Should make a flip book out of those two shots in sequence over and over again. "And One and Two and Three and Four And one and Two and Three and Four..." Bwahaahaaa! You boys have more guts than I do that's for sure. My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!
  5. Why do you say "Poor Kid"? He's quite polular at this point! There has been a new site dedicated to him and word on the street is that this "Poor Kid" is going to end up with a walk thru part in the third film!!! My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!
  6. Yep, it's a very real issue unfortunately. Gross! I had no idea! Watch, I'll be the first to be blocked from all DZ.com users. Muahahaaa..... Oh wait, I mean Bwahahaaa If it was an issue, very cool of you HH. My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!
  7. If you have to ask, then no. I would suggest that you ask around your neighborhood for people with higher lighbulb change numbers to give you the correct info. Surely you will get much advise here on the forums but without a good look at your lightbulb changing technique, there is little we can say to steer you in the right direction. Do you have video? Some pointers that immediately come to mind. 1) Make sure the lightswitch is in the 'off' position. 2) Righty-tighty, Lefty-Loosey 3) It is not necessary to put the lightbulb in your mouth first like they do on TV My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!
  8. I definately wouldn't be using that pic for a personal add. lol My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!
  9. I've got a small length of webbing wrapped around and stiched to each front riser just above the attachment point. Collapse the slider and pull it down over these little 'blocks' and it will stay put. The webbing is an inch wide and doesn't have to be all that thick. My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!
  10. Hmmm. Wonder if she's doing it to herself subconsciously. My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!
  11. When I brought my GF for a tandem last year, she was all gung-ho until we got there. Then I could see a little nervousness. It got progressively worse until it came time to fill out the forms when she started crying. She wasn't sobbing and still wanted to go. Just, her eyes kept welling up and, well, crying. She was pretty embarassed about it. I chalked it up to nerves but was pretty confused about it. She had a great tandem after all. My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!
  12. Initiations... Hmmmm... where do I sign to become the initiator?!?!? lol My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!
  13. True, see my above post: I wrote a review the day this post started. It read straight from Peeks post: It still does not show... perhaps they don't want it to.... funny, doesn't seem derogatory to me. My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!
  14. That's a great idea! My review comes directly from peeks post (I hope you don't mind) My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!

  16. Mary, I know I've asked before... just what is going on in that Avatar pick of yours!?!
  17. Hi Andy, My Spectre regularily took about 700ft to open once I got my pack jobs consistent. I was trying to figure out how to word what I do with the slider but Dave has done a pretty good job... If you have more slider towards the tail, it has less of a tendancy to 'cup' the air and thusly will come down the lines a bit quicker. Frankly though I don't see why you need to shorten it up at all, Spectre openings are SO LazyBoy, slow, comfortable... long. Enjoy :-) Nick My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!
  18. Bump!! Just one? Well then here it is! Granted, this was the jumpers fault as she let go of the handle too soon... there was no RSL but if there was, and it was hooked up to the right riser... then that's what we're talking about here. Nick My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!
  19. The Expert Cypres won't fire below 130 feet. I don't get it? I mean I understand that you likely wont get to line stretch from this height but why would they actually program a deadline like that at all? Surely, it isn't to save the jumper a repack . Isn't programing a certain height at which it won't fire just asking for problems? (i.e. if it's reading pressure incorrectly for any reason, it might raise that altitude and not fire higher?) I don't get it. I'm such a firm beleiver in the whole "Every bit of drag counts" concept that I'd want it to fire even for the fabric of the reserve pilot chute over my head! And then I'd be pulling my fox racing shirt out from my belly hoping to cup some more air with it.... and flapping it up and down too! My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!
  20. If you are at all worried about anything done during your repack, then you should absolutely get a second oppinion. Nobody can give you a solid YES or NO as to weather or not your rigger will be offended because I'm sure there are tons of riggers on either side of the fence on that one... However dude, I agree with the one that said: "It's your life." Don't chance it man. I took my rig to get a repack and it came back a little bulgy... so I took it to someone else to get redone... They both knew eachother and I made no reservations about it... and that was only cosmetic! My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!
  21. From the CARS (Canadian Aviation Regulations) 602.26 Except where permitted in accordance with section 603.37, no pilot-in-command of an aircraft shall permit, and no person shall conduct, a parachute descent from the aircraft (a) in or into controlled airspace or an air route; or (b) over or into a built-up area or an open-air assembly of persons. 603.37 For the purposes of Section 602.26, a pilot-in-command may permit and a person may conduct a parachute descent under this Division if the person complies with the provisions of a special flight operations certificate - parachuting issued by the Minister pursuant to Section 603.38. 603.38 Subject to Section 6.71 of the Act, the Minister shall, on receipt of an application submitted in the form and manner required by the Special Flight Operations Standards, issue a special flight operations certificate - parachuting to an applicant who demonstrates to the Minister the ability to conduct the flight operation in accordance with the Special Flight Operations Standards. 603.39 Contents of Special Flight Operations Certificate - Parachuting A special flight operations certificate - parachuting shall contain the following information: (a) the name and address of the certificate holder; (b) the number of the certificate; (c) the date of issue of the certificate; (d) the validity period of the certificate; (e) the type of flight operation authorized; and (f) any condition pertaining to the operation that the Minister deems necessary for aviation safety. Not sure how they compare to U.S regulations... but I'm pretty sure you'd be looking at the same deal... Our regulations in general are actually a little more strict than yours. Leaving work for home now... tomorow, I will provide CARS pertaining to the transport of passengers for compensation vs. renumeration. Good night all! Happy, safe weekend!!! 22. Oh man, that's a cryin' shame bro! Happened to a classmate of mine, I'm sorry. This is the brightest side I think Blue skies to you. My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!
  23. Alright bud, suit yourself. But if *the man* said COULD, then you must realize that he meant "COULD"... I'd ask him to elaborate if I were you. I promise you, as a private licence holder, you can fly a friend and have him/her pay the cost... if you're THAT hung up on the words "Sharing the cost...", well then, toss in a quarter or a dime So anyway, are you working at your commercial? How you enjoying it? Got long to go? My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!
