Oh, it absolutely IS a classic and did you realize that it's one of the highest boxoffice films of all time? Ok, that's mainly due to the fact it's been playing almost non-stop for over 20 years, but still! I saw this one in Seoul last time i was there..with a live action cast doing LOTS of the parts in english over the movie.. i thought i was going to die from lack of oxygen...korean accents and rocky horror dialogue.. i still have giggle fits thinking about it.. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

i think ive been blessed, as much as i've moved around and as much as i travel i have a number of people who i trust with my life and who have trusted me with theirs..time & distance doesnt really pass between us the really astounding thing is since ive started skydiving, i believe i've found a few more.

some questions, how does it differ from a 'maximum lift' skydiving track? Ive seen some posts about pointing toes out more than straight, and have asked questions and advice from the BASE locals I've met at Eloy, but would like more pointers and wisdom from as wide an audience as possible. also, is there any reason why BASE tracking techniques would not be useful in skydiving tracking dives (where the intent is maximum horizontal distance)? ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

all you ex and current cops (including my father) are going to have to repent by breaking the speed limit in an extreme manner...any speeds under 120 will not be tolerated... GET OUT AND SKYDIVE!! ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

some of the experienced jumpers at Eloy pointed out a possible problem with neoprene gloves..they 'stick' to themselves rather easily and could bunch up in your dive loops, risers/toggles and trap your fingers much easier than normal gloves. a couple even mentioned it having happened to them, luckly not in critical situations, but it was enough to turn me off of them.

nah theres not enough skydiving in those vids.. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

hmmm have to do some research, i'm not interested in doing it for profit motives (nice but not nessesary) but collecting, editing, getting releases etc..would take a bit of time.. i'll definately look into it, even if i'm not really involved, i can think of a few who might be interested in that sort of production...and id love to have something to show my blood relatives why i 'blew them off' this Xmas.. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

interesting idea..has anyone considered collecting footage (jumps and nig-noogery) from all the vidiots and putting together a 'documentary' of the DZ.com Eloy experience? ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

Hey!.......That's the first thing I did. I just want to find out an easy way to get to "my" hotmail account. you can use any browser you want once you connect to the internet. unless you uninstalled IE the program will still be there, use it and go to the hotmail site.. I use MSN for my dial-up (i travel alot) but cant stand all the rainbow butterfly crap MSN pushes on you, so once you connect close the MSN browser and use IE or netscape the same way you always did.. hmm just realized you may have to minimize the MSN browser instead depending on how your connection is set up. ( if closing it disconnects you) ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

ELOY - 300-way record attempts - Press Clips
Zenister replied to quade's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
no no no thats not the way to get to Eloy I-10 to Tucson. Exit 201 (Toltec rd) take a left. 1st Right after the overpass (looks like the on ramp but its not) cross the RR tracks, take a right, then take the next left. Cant miss the DZ.. (particularly not with 300 canopies openning at the same time.) -
will be the user# of next person to join DZ.com ok silly trivial, but i like those kinds of numbers.. 11:11 is a very special time of day, but only if i happen to look at a clock and thats what time it is..makes me feel that all is right with the world.. ok i know.. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

DO NOT PUT UP WITH CRAP LIKE THIS, TAKE THE STATE TO COURT, THEY ARE VIOLATING YOUR RIGHTS AS A US CITIZEN!!!!!! this is also crap because +/-5 mph is the tolerance for NEARLY EVERY radar gun in use in the US. Get the specs and take it to court. Most people dont take the time and so end up paying a 'convenience fine' ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
