you mean the largest number of people getting out of planes together with intent to track? or largest number of people actually IN a "formation" flying together? i looked (not very hard) and didnt see any standards for this kinda thing, but during the Xmas boogie at Eloy we did 2 rather large tracking dives..35+ish and 47 i think there were people scattered ALL over the sky...but it was fun to dive out last and zoom past people falling out and going low to catch up to the leaders i LOVE tracking...i'm sure being 6'4 185lbs has something to do with it... ps. your better off posting this Q in general skydiving...tracking certainly isnt a freefly only thing although more freaks than RW types tend come out to play on all the tracking dives i've been a part of

nope, but then maybe at Eloy i'm just spoiled. There are always world class skydivers around (my employed by the DZ, but some not) who LO during weekends or large events, and i've never paid extra for their services...even during the week there are LOs putting together smaller groups of all styles..some seem to do as part of their job, but others do it just for fun, or to get more skydivers involved. i miss eloy ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

That's as stupid as No Fear T-shirts. Just some one with an inferiority complex. when those first appeared i was doing ALOT of rock climbing/rappelling. One of our crew who worked in a T-shirt shop made us "SOME FEAR -if your not a afraid your not high enough" shirts about a year later i saw the NASCAR version "not going fast enough" ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

eeeewwwwwww if theres any downside to american culture its the continual indoctrination of its youth to believe that the piss yellow stuff commonly served in its bars qualifies as beer or is fit for human consumption... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

speaking of perfect moments. I was playing with my camera and pulled this one from some footage i got from my (former sigh)roommate everything a man could ask for in a skydive..blue skies, HD exit, the otter in the back ground and a stunning veiw.. this will probably get me killed next time i'm at eloy, but hey more people need to smile today in particular. -

definately congrates on making the cut..way to pull it out. kinda suprising you let the pregger play as much as she did (i guess it makes it tough on defense if she counts as 2 on the court ) i miss that kind of competitive enviroment i wanted to start fencing again, until i discovered the 'supremacy of the flick" still dominates modern fencing..[rant]youd think they'd care about what does and doesnt work with live steel, but noooooo[/rant] actually Lew I'm in WA now, and i'm trying to think of a way not to feel lecherous and still go watch the amazons play... maybe if i leave the trench coat and binoculars at home ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

another of mine to, has always been, but sometimes means more like this older one.. Ten score years ago, defeat the kingly foe A wondrous dream came into being Tame the trackless waste, no virgin land left chaste All shining eyes, but never seeing Beneath the noble bird Between the proudest words Behind the beauty, cracks appear Once with heads held high They sang out to the sky Why do their shadows bow in fear? Watch the cities rise Another ship arrives Earth's melting pot and ever growing Fantastic dreams come true Inventing something new The greatest minds, and never knowing The guns replace the plow, facades are tarnished now The principles have been betrayed The dreams's gone stale, but still, let hope prevail History's debt won't be repaid -
oh yeah press charges...hell if he's got 3 stolen canopies on his wall, thats grand theft. (or pretty close depending) be sure to give him some vaseline for giving yours back as they drag him off...

Intelligence: Hollywood vs Bush Administration
Zenister replied to Gravitymaster's topic in The Bonfire
sorta depends on how old the tests were. I know that lots of them collect tests from previous semesters (that are often not changed, or not changed significantly since in some subject the material taught doesnt change much either) so the frat/sorts end up studing for the tests instead of actually learning the material. that does LOTS of the work (in the sense of working towards graduation) for them as they never learn the subject, but only study the questions they need to pass. also many frat/sorts share term papers across colleges and a whole lot of plagarism ensues.. memorize and regurgitate does not an education make.. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed. -

its certainly possible to graduate any college without really putting in the effort. Nearly every fraternity/sorority has "study files" to help do your work for you..one of the downfalls of the current education system..far to many people mark time and graduate without ever having learned anything.. makes anyone who worked for themselves diploma that much less valuable.. possessing a piece of lambskin does not mean you actually know anything about the subject.. not to imply that bush did or did not do this, but the value of an education is defined by the time and energy YOU expend while getting it, not by the name of the institution on your diploma ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed. -
