its old school, but i love that place..i made nearly $2000 in 4 hours of blackjack..got bored and wandered over to the craps table where i proceeded to lose half of it before catching a good shooter on a streak and walked out with almost $4000. when i'm simply paying for fun and drinks there is always "let it ride" so easy it requires no thought at all (so you can get LIIT) and yet has pretty good profits when your hot... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

the club in the Luxor is called RA..it has (had) a dress code and is ok some nights but dead on others..it really depends on the crowd..the Beach is a sure winner if your after meat market type dancin fun.. for atmosphere Rain is cool as well... lately i avoid clubs in vegas..the tourist scene gets old, you'll find me in Binion's wandering between the blackjack & the craps tables... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

your right to a certain extent, but do the national news wire pick up and distrubute "grandmother does 20th tandem" stories the way it does "skydiver plunges to death"? And even when they are shared does one market in FL care about the grandmother in MO enough to repeat it even if they get it?? "human interest" (which the first story falls into) simply doesnt get the attention that "guts & gore" stories do..after all dont forget the newsmans motto "if it bleeds, it leads" ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

I just flew from SEA/ONT and back on Southwest, at both places my checked luggage was inspected and then i was allowed to lock it. I went thru the trouble (not much really) of asking about parachutes on the flight down and SW gave me a ticket sized sheet saying sport parachutes and airtech Cypress were allowed carry ons.. didnt need it in either place so far as i could tell (and i looked) the TSA didnt even blink when my rig went thru the X-ray so i dont expect you'll have any issues no matter how you travel with it.. the TSA is getting better about things.. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

exactly i dont think i've met a SINGLE FF competitor at Eloy that would meet that 1.5 wingloading.. some one need to hand them a lamp so they can come out of the dark ages.. but then again looking at the jump numbers / time in sport of their "highly qualified" instructors i wonder if they can spell Freefly? funny, i guess to a wuffo those are impressive numbers for 6 people :rollseyes: ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed. -

thats the point you HAVE to learn how to get stable whenever you want.. you wont pass AFF6 (? i think its been a while) if you cant. at some point no matter how good your exits are youre going to be unstable in RW they call it a funnel..FFers dont care mostly they did tell you what body position to use to stablize didnt they? ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

grrr since the rain is moving in the 2 jumps i was contemplating while driving back from seatac wont happen.. still 0:8:lots.. met JT and Flyguy (whos name should be Firestarter) 8 great jumps at Perris..finally met the Bytch, some great HD dives with the Perris freaks..a lovely sunset 11 way track..first time at dinner with JT where we didnt find slugs in the food...more names and people i'm supposed to say 'hey' to at Kapowsin then i'll ever remember.. a very good weekend.. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
