uh not for personal gain he doesnt, using images from his visit to the Lincoln in a re-election ad campagin would certainly count as personal gain, and is grossly unfair to anyone running against him who lacks access to such great photo ops. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

how do you gauge relative smelliness during the dirt dive..i mean if the guy i'm docking on REALLY reeks should i run a few laps around the landing area before boarding to make sure our "scent" is more relative? OT post: I have variations of 3. A nice fast RW suit (that doesnt get used anywhere near enough) my Tigger striped FF pants combined with whatever shirt suits that day, and a pair of purple&grey DaKine FF pants, that i dont wear much since they have a nice long rip in the ass from digging out of a low surf.. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed. -
i log Dive type,date,location,aircraft type, distance from tgt (sometimes when i remember usually if i'm dead on or way off i note it) I also add exit/deployment alti & freefall delay from my protrac, and names and "points" in shorthand.. somedays are more detailed than others it depends on when i log and how many jumps i did that day..sometimes i'm just playing catch up on my log book and those entries are rather sparce ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

hmmm well there is a small chance i may make it for this one..not going to play on the otherside of the planet (as was originally pulled for) and it seems i'm not going to play in lousiana (at least not as of today) so... maybe maybe maybe..looking at $300 from SEA to ONT..anyone found anything cheaper?? ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

i dont know about that..the Dems did a pretty good job of taking the wind out of that sail..I'm sure they (the Reps) intended to use some of the footage (and we'll likely still see a bit) but the comments about "arm chair president putting on warriors garb" were pretty harsh (and pretty accurate) i've got no problem with him visiting the ship and congratulating the troops in the manner he did (actually the "wheels" should say thanks more often and with more sincerity, perhaps in the form of pay raises??) but if they use the images from that visit as political ads they are REALLY taking credit away from the troops who actually did the job. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

0:6:0 3 late afternoon FF jumps on Fri.. 3 H&Ps including a "oh what the hell" downwind landing on Sat. whole lota nothing on Sunday..was actually nice to do nothing for a while..sit on the balcony with a margarita and watch it rain.. hmmm gotta get out and do something about that first number. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

clarification question: this mean the specific jumps you do for a skills evaluation have to be signed by an instructor or better? this does not mean that every jump you make has to be signed by a I rated (or better) jumper to count for a rating minimum does it? i usually have someone that was on the dive (or in the plane if it was a solo) sign for most, although i have jumps i've logged later off my protrack that havent always been signed. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
