get a good detector, spend a little time learning how radar really works, what the limitations of handheld 'guns' are and train yourself not to speed unless your shadowed... i havent had a ticket (except once when i was being stupid) that i havent successfully beaten in court in years...primarily because most highway patrol officers use their radar 'guns' outside the operating parameters they are designed for... of course if more cops simply gave tickets for "excessive speed" (totally a judgement call so there is no fighting it) instead of trying to claim their readings were accurate, that wouldnt be true... that said, a properly trained officer in the right location will nail you before you even touch the brakes using either radar or laser...learning to recognize good areas of ambush is also key... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
