    did they take you to altitude? its certainly a bit different given the costs of a tandem, but if they took you up and you couldnt get out at all they still have to eat the costs of fuel, but that doesnt really explain charging you full price for 3 tandems unless you were the only group on the plane and made a huge issue about going up anyway when they said weather was marginal.... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

    yea that way the government can really put you away for their witch hunt.. nope. sorry but if a law is wrong it is your moral/social obligation to break it and break it often, meekly complying to an unjust law is a far greater crime. if there were profit in tiddly winks you can bet the thugs would be all over it, and if beer were illegal the same people would attempt to control it by any means necessary.... if you want to 'blame' someone for the 'evil' of the industry put it where it truly originates the government who supports the industry by keeping it illegal and creating a seller's market for it.     you arent kidding...after flailing for 2 HD dives, i knew i needed to get some professional feedback....a few jumps with Jeffro and Dusty did amazing things to help me get dialed back in and find the nice comfortable spot i could move around on my properly again.... Coach jumps are the way to go...you'll likely spend waaaaaaay to much time picking up bad habits trying to learn HD on your own without a good reference point and some constructive critique of how efficiently your flying your body... get coaching...cant say that enough..get coaching...you dont have to pay for the professionals if you can work it out otherwise, but at least get someone who is more stable than you to chase you out and fly base (with video if possible!!) ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

    hidden needles has been a magicians staple for years...my times were never very good comparatively one of the reasons i knew i never had much of a future as an escape artist... i think many depts have gone to flexcuffs for exactly that reason, much cheaper and they dont come off till you cut them... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

    yea thats how i ended up hogtied and put out on the porch in the rain ... but if i'm unsupervised, even "properly applied" (if i've got a paperclipish item, and i always do before I start running my mouth about it at family gatherings) i've had every LEO in my extended family+ cuff me and i can get out of them in under 5 min.. my best time was 1:15 but that was 'ready, set, go' i really really wanted to be houdini when i was a kid......

    indeed those over paid pansies need to do a bit of real work before they whine for more money for playing a fucking game!!!     your neighbor gets attacked and so puts up bars, guard dogs and alarms so the attackers suddenly find it easier to after your house instead and you criticize your neighbor?? the change in focus of attacks has far more 'direct correlation' to the fact that we hit back harder faster and far more effectively than the rest of the world at the moment, and as (the smarter ones at least) would rather not die in ineffective actions against hardened targets they go for the rest of the worlds softer underbelly. please. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

    Whhooooooooaaa there. Please do not lump police and other law enforcement officers into this category. I think who you are talking about are sheriffs, who are elected public officials--rarely are they law enforcement officers by profession. I would say that 95% of the individual law enforcement types I know are staunchly pro-gun. Their department or their sheriff may be officially anti-gun or leaning that way, but that doesn't dictate they all march to that beat. I will say that publicly stating their pro-gun beliefs can get them transferred or fired. because most LEO's are fully aware that despite the public motto "protect and serve" the first line of protection is you. By the time they arrive (in most cases) all thats left is the paper work and the cleaning...how much are you willing to do to help ensure you and your family arent the ones inside the white lines?? ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

    would be nice, but this isnt a random sample. he is asking about "skydivers" but what hes getting is -registered (?) can guests vote? vistors to this website -some of who are not actually skydivers -who see this poll (time period, and also subject to a HUGE number of factors)l -including an unknown and undeterminable % of deliberatly false answers -are inclined to respond. (which is also why a poll is never a random sample unless your collecting data on the sub group that will respond to polls) i'm sure there are many more influencing factors i'm completely unaware of, which of course will not (likely) be 'corrected' (assumed) as there really isnt any data to use to determine how far your results are off...how can you determine error when you dont know what your target is?? your going to compare these numbers with other polls?? ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

    hmm i seem to remember watching (with my jaw on the floor!) a simply stunning 19 point (was 20 but the camera guy was too close!!) FF dive during the money meet and oh yea the intermediate class was simply torched by a highly experienced RW type with a fairly low number of FF jumps.. there are advantages to both, and everyone should learn both and switch it up sometimes... honestly i need to break out 'my' I dont think its really 'mine' till i have more jumps than it, if then.. RW suit and play on my belly..i'm current on my FF (althought not quite back to where i was before) but havent really done anything other than a few 'low altitude' cessna 4 way launchs on my belly recently ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
