  2. Every AAD has problems. There is no such thing as a perfect AAD. Brand "A" can have one two problems, brand "B" can have ten "problems". Quantify. Saying that both brands have "problems" removes the basis for comparison (quantification).
  3. I got my Triathlon160 relined with Dacron, it had Spectra before. The change in pack volume was not significant. Same here. Almost no difference (MAX half size up).
  4. Here is the overview about the testing of this Cypres: http://www.cypres.cc/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=298%3Ared-bull-stratos-und-cypres&catid=27%3Aaktuell&Itemid=75&lang=en
  5. When is jump number 40,000 coming for him?
  6. That's great in theory, but in real life most people usually will have other things to spend money on. So, if AAD voluntary maintenence time comes, and you have to spend $200 or so on the check, you know how it is - you start reasoning "I have other bills to pay, unit is fine, it is gonna be fine, and so on, I will buy Playstation 3 instead, or pay for the leaking roof". Kind of like doing a yearly check up with a doctor - no one is stopping anyone from getting all medical tests done once a year, but people still don't do it and don't worry about it or make excuses to not do them, because noone makes them do it. I quess for the same reason automotive liability insurance is mandatory, so that this obvious action (paying liablility premium) is not left to people, who would find excuses to pay them and count on being lucky in the street Some things are better accomplished when mandatory - that's how humans work...
  7. That's Don Kellner - he has over 39,000 total jumps, NOT 39,000 tandems: http://www.dkellner.info/DonKellner.html
  8. I know for a fact that he celebrated his 10,000th tandem jump approx three years ago. And, doing 5000 tandems in three years is possible in New Zealand.
  9. I will be impressed when I see someone backflying those lines .
  10. OK, so Freddy from Taupo Tandem Skydiving has 15,000 tandem skydives. Anyone has more?: Source: http://www.taupotandemskydiving.com/ourteam.php

  18. Cool! Question: at the end, it says that the service ceiling for this helicopter is 15,000 feet. How did it get to 20,000 - 25,000 for the record attempts, then?
  19. Yup - I checked their website ind it is not there anymore...

  21. Correction in the video name. It should be: Skydive 100: Basic Body Flight It is a Skydive University video showing RW-2 drills.
