Well, yes/no. They should have said this the first time you contacted them then you're week would almost be over. Give them their week - relax a little and when you call them back next week, plug into the conversation, "now ParaGear is going to ship this overnight to fix this right?". Leaves them the ability to screw up and say no. If they want to fix it, they'll ship overnight at their expense.

My two point five cents (to qualify, I've never been in the military, but I have stayed at a Holiday Inn Express) - Each of us elects how we are going to be a part of the society we live in and how we are going to contribute to it. Some choose to go the military route whether it be fulltime or part time with the full knowlege and commitment that if needed, a person could be shipped out where ever needed. Every so often, these individuals are given the opportunity to 'retire' from service or sign on for more years. This woman knows her obligation and is now playing the mommy card, probably because she's scared. Well, she should be. But, she knew what she was getting into when she signed up! Well, she signed up, she should go. If she doesn't want to go, fine. But, the alternative. How much time does one serve in a 6x9 for being AWOL?

It's been a 'reasonable' time for the items to be shipped from Para Gear and either coast and back. They screwed up on the shipping and you don't have your product. It's Para Gear's responsibility to rectify the situation at this point. You requested a trackable shipping method, they did not comply. Proper direction at this point? Your call. My path, they can't provide me a tracking number which verifies to me that they did not ship my order per my instructions. They cannot verify that it has left the building. Advise them that they will correct the situation and ship priority overnight at their expense to resolve. If they do not comply, call the appropriate credit card company and advise of such. Either way, if the package shows up (I've had a couple birthday cards arrive years late), you need to do the right thing and call them to advise it finally arrived and that they need to provide a shipping label (with pickup) so you can return their lost merchandise to them.

make the budget on how you're going to pay it off...if you make the budget, stick to it...pay the aff off first and continue to jump rental gear. When the first item (AFF) is paid off, start acquiring your gear. You just have to make the conscious decision and commit to doing what you're doing.

Definately second this opinion. Only advice I have beyond that is buy and take a spare set of the various buckles for your backpack. Broke my waist buckle my second trip all over Europe my second day there. It had a short battle with a train door and lost. The stores I ran into there had the buckles, but nothing I could use without a sewing machine to attach the buckle.

So, I guess the only question that hasn't been asked is why are you spending time posting the pictures on dz.com for all of us so see when you should be taking advantage of the situation. It isn't all the time that a unclothed beauty ... Well, get to work on the other things and share the war stories with us later. Somethings are more important than dz.com... (But we all appreciate that you've shared... )

Not exactly, but close. All the public team members you see are enlisted. Because they are military, they do have to follow the normal chain of command. They have officers in the HQ side of the office. Go here for their official website that has all the teams and support personel.
