  1. Wrong year - you're thinking 2001 edit to add logo
  2. B- I've almost got the store done - just doing some final touchs and I'll have the Ground-Rush.com necklaces back online. I'll hook you up with one.
  3. There were some specials on the discovery channel yesterday and there are groups that do the pain and get stakes driven every year. Not something that would make the mainstream news and yes, it did look mighty painful.
  4. But it's really great when both partys are reading the same book!

    Thailand's a bust

Camp Colorado will rise once again - Not sure if the ool will be back though. Will have to see what the temps will be that time of year - and yes, there will be a cover to get in the ool - I've still got to justify the cost for the thing somehow .
  6. 1-1-'insert year here' has been the traditional launch date for the new freefall.com look for the event. It's either done before I head out on 12-31, when I get home (if I'm in any shape) or when I get up on the 1st. I currently don't have any plans for new years yet - this town has nothing to do - so it will probably be up at midnight Rantoul time. Michael
  7. Even better - Christmas day. Only people really on the slopes when I went were tourists, and there weren't that many.
  8. Yep...She's 3 months pregnant and married. Wait, so are you... Definately treating her nice. Paying to finish up her AFF when it gets warm out again.
  9. See attached - and it's custom 4 small diamonds in the end of the pin. Apparently took one of my closing pin necklaces to a jeweler recommended by several of the doctors she works with...it's mighty impressive and was not expected. She's awesome!

    Wrapping Presents

That's why you hit up the local charity who is generally based in the mall this time of year with a stockpile of wrapping paper, bows and the like and will wrap everything for you for a nominal donation to charity. Saves the headache majorly. Besides, I would have spent about the same buying wrapping paper as what they charged me. I did double the amout though - It is he giving season...
  11. [disclaimer]My experience[/disclaimer], the people who stayed in that 100 mile circle ended up being the same twit they were in high school ala Al Bundy type. The football players all stuck around and married the cheerleaders, divorced the cheerleaders and married another. Most of them still talk of the 'glory days' even though they may have gone off to college or not. Granted, I do have some life long friends that I went to high school with, but they, like me, got the frick outta dodge when they saw the opportunity. I'm unfortunately back in the 100 mile circle by my own choice for family reasons. But I am plotting my escape.

  13. Draw a circle of about 100 miles from your high school. those who still live in the circle are probably still the same person they were in highschool including still having the same friends and such. Thos outside the circle have probably done something a bit more creative in their life than take over the parents business.
  14. Better...Mr. Toad's Wild Ride - Disney World.
  15. This isn't Mike's, but can you guess who this might be? Them - "I'm leaving. I'm done. I'm really leaving. I don't have to put up with this shit." Me - "OK, Bye." Them - "Wait, I'm not done yelling at you yet." You get one guess - you'll probably nail it.
  16. Got to have more than one season. All sun and warm would just be no fun. What's best is hottubin in the winter while it's snowing. Reminds me. Need to get my brother to come hook up the hot tub.
  17. You mean my snow boots? They convert easily from summer to winter wear with the addition of wool socks.
