No mate it's here I was born and forced to leave and I'm a non practicing Muslim. OK....so that settles it then! After these camel lovers are kicked from power stripped of their clothes and their funds they will be boxed up and shipped to your pad. With out it I don't think I would have done well on AFF3. Or have recovered from AFF2 when I flipped on my back. Not by much. The larger one seemed to just float way more down low. But I could be wrong, I only have 6 jumps. So from now on I'm just going to stick with one rig and not bounce between the two. Hay who knows? The Shah did a good job killing thousands and he was let go to live the last of his life in a very large home. Maybe the Mullahs will get the same? I'm very sorry to get everyone riled up. But it's a student rig, 9 cells very basic, probably a bunch of jumps on both of them. And I noticed the greatest difference in the final, both days the wind speed was low, how low I don't recall, but the larger of the two I seemed to float much longer on my final and with the smaller one seemed to descend at a much steeper angel. And in my engineering brain I couldn't help but ask, is 5sqft really that much? Never the less, I think I'll just stick with one of the rigs from here on out. Just until I can figure out what the hell I'm doing. The last jump with the smaller of the two rigs I was 100ft above a power line on my final. Not smart but I wasn't use to her falling so fast on me. Life through good thoughts, good words, and good deeds is necessary to ensure happiness and to keep chaos at bay. John, Roger mate, there is a lot i'm not telling you because honestly I don't know. When I go back to the DZ I'll get the info. I'm sorry but I have very limited info, which I know is bad. But at my DZ we have two student rigs and of which one is 5sqft bigger than the other and I weigh 190lbs. I noticed I could land the smaller one better than the larger one, the large one has a very long glide slope....as it should. But....it's only 5sqft. Is that enough to cause such a huge difference between the two or is it all in my head? I just did AFF3, it is much easier if you have a few min of tunnel time. Finding stability and being at ease with your self becomes easier. Case in point in my AFF2 my last right hand turn I bumped my instructor, my knees came together and I was on my back and my instructor was pushed off. Thanks to being in the tunnel I was aware enough to get stable on my back look around, realize i was clear and he was gone, roll back on my belly check my altimeter, wave off and deploy. Was I pissed? oh you bet I was! So much so that i totally botched up the landing. but no one got hurt and I lived and life goes on. It's a lot like learning how to drive a stick shift car, yeah we are going to suck for the first 30 rides but by ride 31....we'll be able to park the car with out stalling it!
