377 Bingo Ive tried a lot of other techniques To include the common sense ones and computer simulation for the drop zone.Diatom testing of the algea from the streams is the way i believe the case will be solved but untill I can a lab that will do that I will continue to search the stream banks.

The Money: It is my belief that the bag poped open when he landed and the money was loose some still bound by rubber bands.There was a big rain storm shortly after his jump Which flooded the intire area.and it is believed that the money was washed down from where it landed by way of one of the washuogal tributaries then came to rest on tinas bar this is where the money remained and deterated maybe it moved some maybe not.This will never be known for sure. When there is a heavy rain in these area's small drainage streams pop up and the creeks take new direction of flow.Snow melt is also a large factor in moving objects from place to place. you guessed it this is not Shelly my comments will be very short in most cases and direct. To expect to find large pieces of bone would be great . However if you look for something small and find it, then you know you haven't overlooked the obvious.#2 no special powers needed and a compass is not always needed.A lot of experience and training is though.

Well you're probably right.Jerry got his pilots liscense when he was 16 yrs old.you must understand that the search area easest access is from a road that follows stebins creek then goes west and and towards the head waters of most of the streams that flow to the columbia river.The only way the money could have made its way to the columbia river is down one of these streams. This fact has been verified by a hydrologist from the Army Corp of Engineers that worked at bonneville dam. Jerry may never find anything but he will continue to search and follow any leads he is given. But I do thank you for your comments. Shelly

I don't have the book here Jerry loaned it to his son and it hasn't been returned yet.I do know that there was a debriefing and that ralph had talked to scott more than once.When Jerry searches he looks for metal objects as well as material items. He believes that there maybe pieces of the parachute still in tact especialy thick pieces he also believes that the parachute never opened. He is also looking for pieces of bone he does not think he will find a skeliton just pieces of bone.There is a lot of field mice out in the woods and they will use any material objects they find to make there nest for this reason and detoration factors he doesn't believe there will be any money found. Just to give you an Idea of some of the strange things he has found,once he found a orange golf ball in a area that was about 3 miles from any road deep in the woods he couln't understand how it got there untill a year later. He finally figured it out .This is how.We had goten one of those orange foam 76 balls that you put on the antina of your car and a hawk flew down and took it. Thats how he thinks the orange golf ball got to where he found it.After seeing that we both figure that regardless of where something is left it can be found anywhere. I don't mean to bore you with some of these stories but i figure a little humor is needed. The information that i post on this forum comes from people Jerry has talked to,yes Jerry has talked to scott this was years ago.As for as Ralphs book is concerned.Ralph would not have let anything be printed in his book that was not true.If there is something in his book that is incorect I'm sure Jerry would know about it and he has said nothing to me.But you know how men are, ha-ha Yes it is true that we or very close to Ralph and his wife but to us they're family and our conversations are not always about this case.So it would be unfair to ask me to ask him certain questions.I realy hope all of you understand. I can tell you what i know to be fact about this case and yes we do know things that others do not but the reason for that comes from actually being on the ground and seeing how the landscape and the weather is. About the weather that nite my information comes from the fact that i lived in washougal at the time.Here is somthing I bet you guys didn't know.It can be raining on your next door neighbor and you'll never see a drop fall on your house that is very common here. About the winds in this area you must remember it is the mouth of the columbia river gourge that we are talking about and the winds push North east and east normally.There's alot of gust and turbulants and there not always recorded or mentioned and the weather man is the one that never seems to no what he is talking about. There seems to be a lot of questions about the stebins creek search area.I remember that the vidieo I was in with Jerry was done near there and he was asked, is this close to the search area.Jerry said yes sort of and told them that the road that runs along stebins creek comes to a y. If you take the fork to the west, that the road takes you by all the head waters of all creeks that run to the south and gives you access to the search area.On the North side of the road is a different watershed drainage area and is of no value to the case. most of all the other logging roads in the area has locked gates and you can't travel on them. I think Jerry is working with someone on seting up a area that every one can go to to ask questions I can not answer, but after being with the man for 22yrs I khow almost every thing about the case he does except for the technical stuff.I've been to the woods and searched with him a few times.and it is realy hard to travel out there.Some of the things he does realy scares me ,so I don't go with him any more.besides alot of the places he searchs is to dagerous for people with any common sense. As for as the flight path I do remember scott saying that he was a little bit to the east of the flight path and that it was a good thing, that way if the bomb went off they wouldn't be over a populated area. The night of the flight the winds at 10,000 ft were very strong even the ground winds were very high.I was born and raised in washougal washington so this case has been a part of my life since it happened.There is one more thing that might be of interest to all of you. Most of the old timers that live in the area believe the money came down the little washougal river which flows into the washougal river coming from the north west. If any of you plan to go and search for evidence, you should know that the terain is full of cliffs and a lot of the time the only way you can travel is down the center of a creek and the water in these creeks hasn't been water very long. I would later find out who DB Cooper realy was.Im not going to make up stories just to apease people. Did you say this Jo? Why not Jo thats what you have done all along.Why didn't you stick to the original story you told Jerry.you know the one about you and Duane driving up I5 and driving across the cowltz river and him pointing and saying thats where DB Cooper buried the money.Did you also forget what you said duane told you just before he died.You said he wispered to you that he knew who DB Cooper Realy was but didn't say any thing else about it.These are your own words.What about Duanes medical condition that he had most of his life.This alone would have killed him if he had made that jump.What about what his best friend said did you forget that also.Now you know that when you were in washington that you told the TV producers that you did not want Jerry to be Involved.Jerry made himself available for them if he was needed.Ralph knew how to contact him and so did you.Now Duane's band the one he played in at the tavern you did give Jerry those names. we knew at the time they were just names you had heard and decided to use for a new story you were making up. Lets RECAP 1. the cowltz river 2.The power lines 3. the accomplice with the red truck.4the 20 dollar bill 5.Hiding in a cabin then stealing a boat to cross Lacamas lake then crossing the RR tracks then Hwy 14 down to the columbia river and burrying the money.6.burying the money under a radio tower on top of BoBs Mnt. These are just a few. Jerry even though he knew they were just stories checked all of them out.Jo Jerry actually tried to prove duane was cooper for you.All you did was to to continue making up stories.Jerrys kept a record of all of these things along with the recorded telphone conversations which you new about he told you that he did that for you in case he found something, so you could use it in the book you were going to write. Jo why didn't you ever take a polygraph test. why don't you just except the DNA test results.If you wish to continue to call me a lier and say Jerry didn't do anything to help you I will continue to add more information on you and the stories you have told us.You promised that if nothing was found in your dogs grave you would put all this behind you, Its time Jo Now one of the questions asked is has Jerry tried to use a metal detector. Yes he did but the rock in this area is full of Iron and you get a lot of false readings. We have moved a few times in the last 11 years. Jerry is retired but still goes to the woods when he is able. He still does the videos and newspapers when asked. We have kept up to date on the case. And have checked out all the new things that have been found. Nothing new really, but there were a few possiblities. Unfortunatly there really isn't much to find out at this time, but he does have a few new project going on soon. I wish there was more but this case is a slow mover. He is heading back to the woods next month and hopefully thing go great. There will be some new litature out soon hopefully. A writer has asked to talk to him. Larry and Ralph still call on occation and it's nice to hear from them. It's not a joke about the bar, she told us that story herself. Unforutanatlly the bar had burned down three months before her trip to Washington. Also she has talked to us several time because we have always had a cell. So this tale of not hearing from Jerry after her trip is false . She sent a letter to us at our place in Washington telling us a tale about Duane and LaCamas Lake. There is no need for more details at this time on that one. If you want to know more I can look for the letter. You could not keep your information straight or describe half of what you claim you did. The things you claim are false and I do not believe you still claim they are true. The bar you went to and discovered that Duane played there with Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise, burned down three months before you came to the area.The areas you wanted searched were and came up negative. You husband was with his family for Thanksgiving dinner that year. This has been verified by the FBI. Many of the places you seem to believe are connected to this case are not. Please Jo, start to live your own life and not this dream. Duane was not D.B. Cooper. I still remember how you tried to convince me all those years ago. It wasn't true then and it isn't true now. Jerry tried to help you but your story kept changing and in the end you were wrong.
