If what Marla is saying is true. Curtis Ng is convinced that LD was Cooper and is going to close the case because he looks like the drawings.She also said that if the finger prints come back later as a match that will be enough for a conviction. I talked to Ralph he said he didn't think Curtis could close the case that this decission had to be made at the head office and not a field office.Still what concerns me is why would Marla be saying this if she did not get it from Curtis.Yet when I talked to Curtis this afternoon he would not confirm or deny this story, he only said that LD could be Cooper.Jerry

Just got off the phone with Bruce Smith. He just finished talking to Marla Cooper. Marla met with Curtis Ng today. Curtis told her that he was convinced LD was Cooper because he looked like him and was going to close the case regardless. The DNA was inconclusive.This info also matches what Geof Gray said tonight.A lot more was said to Bruce. Bruce said he will post later and the whole story will be posted by midnight. Jerry

Just got off the Phone with Curtis Ng. He is now saying Marla Coopers Uncle May be Cooper. According to another source Marla has been told her Uncle was Cooper.Jerry

Homnid: The Main problem Cooper would have had was deploying his parachute.377 and i have discussed this. 377 is correct that if he deployed his chute imediatly he would not have gone into a spin. He was not using a chute he was familliar with chances are he went into a spin and did not recover. Jerry
