And that happens often. I experienced this when my dad married his wife. I can say that she tried very hard the first couple of months, then she must have realized what she had gotten herself into! She raised hell after that and my dad would not hold his ground nor stand up for us. She is pure evil, and a house should fall on her any day now! Pilot Crashes Into Ex-In-Law's House
cloudseeker2001 replied to warpedskydiver's topic in Speakers Corner
But everyone knows small single engine airplanes are left-leaning liberals, that is proven by needing right rudder on take-off. OMG this is the funniest thing I have read in recent memory!!!!!!!!! I am about to start pilot school and this really cracks me up! It is terrible what this person did to his child, himself and family......... That is odd how they do not keep a nice clean house and yard.....I am surrounded by three gay couples and the common area is always kept nice with fresh flowers year around! And they too have parties all the time, and one of them is always baking cakes and pies......And I have seen, from across the drive, the wilder parties! I guess I cannot get too excited over this....I think the real crime is the Mall......I guess they mean shopping Mall..........we get their oil, and they get......Malls. "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"

I have a Big Agnes and an REI pad that fits in the pocket of the bag and I think it is great. I think mine is rated for 15 degrees, but it was a little hot for me even when the temp inside the tent was about 12. If it is still not warm enough, a blanket will do the trick........but probably lighter is better. Another thing is synthetics materials can really get rank in just a few nights, but it's all about blending in with nature!

Saw Clapton Friday night and yep, I agree, Trucks kicks ass. And Clapton looked like he was having a great time playing with Trucks and Bramhall.....I really like how Clapton allows these younger players to get in the light........That is class. I spent 100$ on last minute pro-mo release seat and it was the best in the house!

REI dividends! How much did you get back?
cloudseeker2001 replied to cloudseeker2001's topic in The Bonfire
Some things are expensive, such as outdoor clothing. I think the only clothing I bought was wool socks......but, the gear is top quality and proven. When you are miles in the back country, you need the best gear! "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream" -

Last year about this time I bought all new outdoor gear....tent, sleeping bag, stove, Bora pack and all kinds of fun stuff and when I bought all this I thought the dividend was probably a joke, but today I get an email saying it's for 157$ How cool is that?! Who else got one? -
My high school sweet heart experienced the same problems every month-usually three days of cosmic pain-and when she wanted BC, her parents flip'd out......since I was the one that told her about the benifits, I was the bad guy! Poor girl went about 4 more years until she could get BC and the relief she needed. "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"

If you're talking bass, Les Claypool hands down. But in all your categories, Guthrie Govan (Asia, GPS and solo work) does the business. He did a medley for Guitarist Magazine of guitarist famous for various techniques as polled by the readers. There were loads of different players covered including Vai, Satch, Malmseen, SRV, Gilbert, Townsend, Hendrix, Knopfler, Morello, EVH and more and he nailed the lot. I do not think Les Claypool is one of the greats by any means. "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"

I refuse this one!!!!!! They are both great. Gordon Lightfoot has more complex chords and more studio tricks.....that is probably why most people think he is better.......John Denver just had a great vibe and that really came out in his music. John was a really cool guy as well, I have heard Gordon is an ass. "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"

Cool guitar.....it is not as cool as a bass, but cool enough! Does your builder carve his own body and neck, or are they Warmoth parts?

That is what I was thinking.....I bet she is really hip too!

5 dates, I don't know, that sounds like a lot.....you may be expecting too much! On the 5th date, wear nothing but the Red Hat and see what happens! "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"

I think it should have been an entire rig, maybe two!!!!! Not so fast, he may still charge you when it gets here! He did give me a fee coke once while he was re-filling the machine. He told me not to tell anyone-I guess he did not want to ruin his rep! "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"

No doubt Doyle kicks ass and I will say that one day Clapton will say Doyle is the best!!!!!! Doyle is an Austin native and I have seen him many times in small clubs. The guy is out of this universe! No one is making music like him! Last time I saw him was at Antones and he was greeting people at the door, I tried my best to be as cool as possible and he still got to me! I have not seen him with Clapton live, but I can tell you that in the Live in the Fleash DVD and Claptons Crossroasds DVD he is holding back and not over powering the "star" of the show! I think after he gets tired of making money with Clapton, he will explode with new music! I sure hope he does not get too big! Since Doyle has been working with Clapton, I have heard Clapton rip off many Doyle licks..........it's ok, Doyle has millions more! Yea, your pretty tall ......next time we are talking, I am going to remember to look up your nose! "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"

As far as I am concerned those two police officers and the agency they work for are directly responsible for that womans suffering and indirectly, if not directly, responsible for the death of the fetus. But, everyone knows they will never be held accountable. It is hard for me to think of what it would be like sitting in that jail and bleeding for 12 hours before a person could go to a hospital.........I loved what the cop said on the video.......Yea, you can go to the hospital, when we are done with you! I wonder if he would have said that to his mom or sister! Probably not. "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"

Don't let that chick push you around......It is your coffee cup, it was with you before her and it will be with you after she has gone! But you probably should only drink out of it when she is not around! "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"
