I bet if they start being assholes GWB will suddenly remember how most of the 9/11 hijackers were Saudis. We can turn in an instant on old friends. Just ask Saddam. "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"

In Seattle they have one-i think it is at the Boeing museum-and you can sit in the cockpit......all the "good" instruments have been removed, but it is still really cool. They have an engine display as well.........The plane museum in Salt Lake has one too. "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"

Less Nessman WKRP and the turkey episode
cloudseeker2001 replied to toronto_bill's topic in The Bonfire
That episode was based on a real promo a radio station did one year for turkey day! "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream" -
Lure it into an ice-skating rink and freeze it to death. That's what Steve McQueen would do. It worked for "The Blob". HAHAHAHA! Thats what I was thinking!!!!!! Then slice it up and put it on the grill! That would be enough meat to last until the end of the season...........vagina burgers, vagina hotdogs, vagina sandwiches, vagina spaghetti, vagina meatballs, vigina jerky, vagina vagina............... QuoteP.S Fox hunting is banned in the U.K and then they didn't shoot at the fox either (Guns are banned here too - oh how our liberties are being ripped from us). If you lived in my neighborhood, you would understand why we have guns! "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"

Fun things to do in Lubbock, TX. on a Tuesday night?
cloudseeker2001 replied to stitch's topic in The Bonfire
So that strip club is no more-but think of all those poor girls who will never receive an education!......that was a real fun one too.......every year on my way back from vacation I would always time my passing through Lubbock just right for the club.........There is another one way out in the desert, but unless you like truckers and concrete floors and no main stage, I would not suggest it! We now know how you were able to sneak up on that bear and why he has that grin on his face!!!!!!!!! "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"

maybe a little more careful because of the claws! Thanks for the offer for a place to stay.........I will one day make the adventure and hopefully not die of starvation in a bus three miles from a fully stocked cabin! How does bear jerkey???????? "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"

I have heard different opinions about bear meat and I would like to try it! Not something I would want to eat everyday I am sure! Yes, Alaska has their conservation laws to a science....I understand that bears need to be regulated. Bears do really nasty things to their environment and each other when over population occurs. That must have been an exciting experience! Just think what would have happened had the bear won the battle! Last spring I went about 15 miles into Gila looking for black bears and mountain lions and did not see a single one! I did talk to a guide and he said for 150$ he would tree a cat with one of his dogs, but I would rather see the cat in a more natural state than terrified in a tree!

There is a topless club in the middle of downtown......many young college girls are forced to work there in order to pay for their education! "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream" -

Can anyone recommend some good jazz albums?
cloudseeker2001 replied to SpeedRacer's topic in The Bonfire
I have always wanted to kidnap Kenny G, shave his head and make him play out of tune for hours on stage naked.......I think that would be so much fun! "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream" -

A couple that are more electric jazz. Also, jazz is, more than any other type music, an art that should be enjoyed live. Chord changes in jazz suggest the notes to be played and this allows the true freedom of expression of each musician. A good live jazz recording is far better than a studio masterpiece. I have flown at uncontrolled all over this nation. Its the incorrect and misspronounced that is hard to deal with. I think you maybe missed the point I was trying to make; ain't nobody required to talk to nobody. See and be seen. I have been hanging out at uncontrolled airports all over the Houston area watching planes landing patterns and listening to their radio announcements.......not much different than canopy landing patterns, but every once in a while someone will make a straight in approach and screw everyone in the pattern.........I have yet to hear any pilot tell them to enter the pattern and wait their turn to land!
