    I've done my share of pooping in the woods and find that the squat, although awkward, is the best position for a good dump. When you can, crap in your buddy's coffee mug or cooking pot. Either that or dig deep. Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!

    Sounds like you did the same thing Don did. Cut a neat, round hole in the padding right where your lips would go if you pucker them like you're kissing it. He says this has improved the ventilation but didn't mention anything about problems with fogging. I haven't had a problem with breathing or fogging on mine so no cutting for me unless i have a problem when it gets colder. If that doesn't fix it, try some cat crap. I use it when I ski and it works pretty good. REI has it. Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!

    If I'm under canopy and the visor fogs, I raise the visor. Problem solved. TheDon cut a hole in the padding on his Mamba and swears by it. Maybe he'll chime in here. Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!

    That doesn't sound like dread. It sounds like an adrenaline rush. Welcome and embrace it! I had the shakes all through AFF. Just focus on the dive flow and the tasks at hand. It might take your mind off the fact that your stepping off a plane 2.5 miles up. Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!

    Even worse, somebody probably paid grant money to support a study like this. It's amazing what people come up with for Ph.D. dissertations. For example, take the Cain-Hackman Theory and "You can major in Game Boy if you know how to bullshit." And I think willing is worth more than 2 points! Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!

    You have to have been there to know it. I spent three years at Polk and although the location is crap, the work was really good there. I'd never move back but I enjoyed my time there. Wasn't jupming at the time but look here on the "Dropzone" link. There are three in Louisiana. Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!

    Get the policy now before you start skydiving. At the time of the application, if they ask if you participate in skydiving, the answer is "No" so you're not lying on the application. I used to sell life insurance to military and if they weren't on jump status then there was no rate up even if they were on orders to go to a jump assignment. Just make sure there are no exclusionary clauses in the policy before purchasing it in the event you decide to start skydiving. It'll vary from company to company so research it. Also, get a whole life policy that'll put you in control of the policy. Term policies expire and if you have to renew after you start skydiving, there will be a rate up if you reveal that you started skydiving. Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!

    Is she an RN? 21 and she's already bored? There are a lot of opportunites for an RN out there besides mission work. Have her look into travelling assignments or Public Health Service if she's looking for a type of service. (A lot of folks don't know about PHS.) Different from the Peace Corps, which I believe is all volunteer with volunteer wages, PHS is like getting a commission as an officer in the military- it's commissioned service with a $25k signing bonus right now for 4 years. If she has a few years experience, Travelling or Agency nursing isn't a bad deal. I worked agency for a year. The money is really good and you get a change of scenery frequently working different shifts in a handful of different hospitals. Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!

    Each of the manufacturers' websites will have a section where you can see what the container size corresponds too. A lot of the folks that list here in the classifieds will include what size range body the container was designed for and also what size canopies will fit. You can also get the harness modified to fit you better after you purchase one. Infinity Sun Path Click the "New and Used Stock" and you'll see links to the container and harness sizes.     If they are using one or more of your photos, why not just just invoice them with a threat to sue of they don't pay? They are already using the photo so charge a fee for use of the photo in web advertising. Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!

    I hope that last picture is of it dead! Found one in my yard last week and did the same thing as you. Caught it in a cup to show my two older sons (7 & 8) what one looks like and not to mess with it (like daddy was doing). A few days later we were playing out in a field and my 7-year old lifted a flat rock, yelped, quickly dropped the rock and then started screaming there was a black widow under the rock. I was so glad I taught them the week before what one was because I don't know what he's have done otherwise. We killed that one too. That's the best kind of black widow to me!
