I traded a year old poster t for a current WFFC t one year. Seemed the poster had the skydiver I traded with on it, and he wanted one of him. Good thing for me, it was a year old, and by then, very sweaty! I got a nice new one. I'll trade you a WFFC staff shirt for some chocolate, how's that? Well, since I wasn't on the golf cart on that fateful outing, lets see if I can remember the aftermath....OH YEA< I CAN< I WASN"T THE DRUNK ON THE BOTTOM OF THE HEAP!! I have a niece who is cute, petite, funny, smart. She only dates losers. When a really nice guy asks her out, she finds a million things wrong with him. Stupid things, like 'his nose is too pointy'. Man, I'm glad to hear that! I will not be able to jump by Rantoul this year but still might go with some of my friends from the home DZ just to see everything and have a good time! Wish I could jump though! My advice: Arrive, check-in etc. Aquire golf cart. Drive golf cart to store and buy beer. Drink beer, drive golf cart. Pick up skydivers and give them rides to and from landing area. Youll meet soo many people, and learn a lot too. Take a video camera. Video the swoop pond. Video the party at night. If you cant have fun doing that, I can help! Listen to YH, he knows whereforof he speaks. But instead of acquiring golf cart, see me, I'll find you some wheels, and you can do the shuttling of skydivers for cool free stuff, and be official. I need the occasional official shuttler, huh Aprilcat? (She came and drove for me, but she failed to tell me she had never driven before, gotta tell ya, THAT was an experience!!) Ok, so I decided after my long and very scientific poll that the best kind of jump tickets a skydiver could score would be the FREE kind. So I'm digging into my pocket, and on MONDAY I will announce what I am gonna give away to some lucky WFFC attending skydiver. I worked at a music store. Hot day, went to the bank. Came back from the bank and a car was sitting in front of the store with the windows open about 1 inch. On the back seat were a 1 year old and another kid about 3, both asleep, or dead. In between them was a big basket of clothes with laundry detergent and bleach on top. I went running into the music store, told my boss that some asswipe was killing her two kids by locking them in a sweltering car, and I was on the phone calling the police when this woman sheepish comes out from behind a music rack where she had been looking at sheet music. I figure my "gambling" expense at $60.00 bucks a year. I spent a bunch of years in politics, and was expected to spend time at various events on our Riverboats here. Part of the budget (yea, I'm cheap) Had to go to Vegas on business. Went to the Carribean. Never have gone over my $60.00 a year. A little background on the 727 at the WFFC. When Don first approached the FAA about it, they said they would get back to him with a list of concerns. Took nearly a year, but when he got their list it was more than 50 items long. Each item had to be researched and addressed. Took nearly another year. Two years of VERY hard and expensive work to bring that puppy to the WFFC the first time. It would be nice if we could just call them up and say "hey, we got this here cool plane we wanna jump out of!" and they said "ok, no prob!" but it's incredibly complicated, and even after they give you the go ahead, they can still change their minds. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

He told me how much he loved me and thought it would be a good idea if we got married. I told him, "Babe, I've got a little surprise for you; we already are." After a lot more healing time, I think he will be able to put the pieces together a bit better. No greater love!! Every doctor that followed William's care from Mobile to Shreveport said he would be in a vegetative state for the rest of his life, but the progress he has made since April 23rd has been nothing short of a miracle. Thank y'all so much for your well wishes and prayers. We are on our way!! That's why they call it "practicing" medicine. You two keep keeping it on! Be sure that you get sanity breaks for yourself. Even if it's just a little bit of alone time going for an ice cream cone or a nail job. Don't forget to take REALLLY good care of yourself, and let others help you out, so that you get many of those little breaks..
