OH MY GOD< YOU POOR THING!! My favorite memory is driving 10 kindergarteners to school, and having them sing "Walking on Sunshine" REALLY STICKS WITH ME. Billy Joel said he dropped out of high school for this very reason, he couldn't get the music out of his head. They are all running for their lives. Used to be, we had to MAIL everything. All letters, correspondence, bills. I NEVER mail anything anymore, and the only thing I ever get in the mail is JUNK. So they are worried about all of those stamps they aren't selling, and they will have to figure out a different way of hanging on to their jobs. Don't forget, there was NEVER a successful railroad in the United States. Every one that ever made ends meet, did it thru post office subsidies. When the subsidies ended, so did the rail ways. Soon there will be no post office, it will all be online or auto deposit/withdrawal. I wondered about Rev. Jim all day yesterday, so I am glad to see that everything is AOK. I followed a car hauler down John Deere Expressway in the QC yesterday, and nearly killed myself to see if it was daRev. Glad you had a great time with Dave, too Famosa. We had some friends that won an all expense paid trip to Disney World. They left their 3 kids with us, and the keys to their house. In previous years we had bought a gross of condoms, and then I ended up getting my tubes tied so we didn't need them. My son got a scholarship to study abroad for a year. He had always made fun of my attempts to teach him German and French. The scholarship sent him to Germany, and they said 'don't worry about Germans they all speak English." Then they sent him to EAST Germany as the wall came down. He learned to speak German very well, very fast, or he would have starved to death. The second language there was Russian, not English, so he learned Russian as well. While he was there, his French class from America went to France, so he traveled there to visit, and polish his French speaking skills then came back to the States, then to West Germany for a year, then to the States for a year, then to Australia for a year, then the States then China for several months. So he speaks English, French, German, Russian, and Mandarin Chinese. Is he fluent? Yes, he negotiates contracts in German and Chinese for his law firm all day every day. So speak funny languages to your kids when they are little, you never know what they will pick up.
