Not as strong as type 8 (the wide ones) risers. The only problem with those was style. It's also well known that the large three rings are more reliable than the mini rings, but better quality control has narrowed that gap. I admit I gave in to the fashion police and got mini rings and skinny risers on my current rig, so I can't really talk. It is a shame, but when those that call them selves wingsuit instructors with nothing to back it up repeatedly ignore those recommendations, and as a result we see that at least 3 of the more recent wingsuit fatalities involve jumpers with sub 200 jumps, then what else should be done? No problems with them in Tandem and Student rigs. Make sure they are shut of if the rigs travel, as my only problem came from a rig that left the DZ and the was returned with the unit still on. I make very sure that all students learn that "PRO" is the only thing they can see on the display and still be ready to jump. I will no vote for a person who deliberately does something other than his job.
