    This is a question to the whole thread. If the FAA requires someone (a pilot) who is going to carry a passenger for hire to hold a medical and all the standards it requires someone to adhere to then why should we (the USPA, or manufacturers) require anything less?     It's really no different than the requirements for other ratings. TI's must make a minimum number of Tandems, AFF instructors must make a minimum of AFF jumps. The common factor is that they are jumps which exercise the privileges of the rating. 15 coach jumps, i.e. unlicensed jumpers working towards the A license, or another way to look at it are jumps done under the apprenticeship of an instructor. ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are.     So pull higher. Do you really need a BSR to tell you that? If you don't get a PC out when you wanted... Maybe you don't get to swoop on this load. Know your gear and make your decisions based on that. This is about a MINIMUM altitude. Poll 100 jumpers on any given DZ and the majority will tell you they pull higher than 2k (I normally pitch at 3k). This is a non-issue looking for a BSR.     I'll bite; I haven't competed at Nationals or at a PST event since 2005. I would MUCH rather compete in Ranch PSN-type meets. You can keep the ultra-loaded, pop-up, ass-smashing distance runs that have been vogue these past years.     Actually, that's a bit of a bullshit answer because it's not how much money Romney made, but the way the money was made. Pretty much only people that are already rich can be taxed at that low of a rate since it requires one to already have enough money to live purely off investment income. ONE man contributes 3 mil into the pot and it's not enough for you people.     Don't be obtuse. You can't spend a %. Raise the percentage and two things will happen. A) people won't invest, they'll sit on it.     We could only hope that the jumper approached the USPA for advice and possible documentation to help his cause. If he was asking for financial assistance, we can only hope that he was either turned down or offered the chance to start up a demo team from scratch.
