Bill: Thank god that I have not been tainted by the media coverage on this sad event by condolences go out to you and the family's of the victum. Although we are all very upset we must understand that the media gets its ratings by selective stereotypes and overexaggerations. You are correct, it is sad when you hear the media blow things about of proportion and the gaps in the story speculated and filled in by those furthest from the incident. It is tragic that a lesson like this is reminded to so many daily and we do not hear about it. Again my depest condolences. This company doesn't have a director of IT. He is all cost oriented which is good but he has to realize that we need to have some sort of backup system in place. My god man even if I put in in terms he would understand it is still going to cost 10-15 large. Does any one else here have a disaster recovery plan or security policy that they had to push on their thick headed boss from the stone age? I just got back from a meeting with the most irrational man I have ever met in my life. My boss is a prick of a man. I just tried to explain to him what we needed for a security policy and everything I told him he disagreed with. That in itself doesn't piss me off it when he plays dumb and has me repeating my self over and over for 2 hours!!! AARRRGH. That man tries my patience everyday. I'm begining to think tha this new job isn't going to work out. Kind of along the same lines here is people who are against stem cell research. With the HUGE potential to cure deseases and provide us with gentically targeted medicine. I just had a busy weekend 2 socials and a house party plus 2 hockey games. Go Satallites. Anyways we were @ my buddies wedding social and he had these king cans instead of glass bottles. Whoa for 3.15 you get 950 mL of beer! Is that a deal or what. Not all to sure really. I'm always hearing about certified riggers you know master riggers and rigger apprentices. Qualified jump maseters and camera flyers things like that. I like apple pie but i'm not picky and would settle for other kinds... I'm the type of person who gets bored easily and if there are others like me in the sport which i'm sure is the case then they will probably burn out really quickly. If you travel around and get into the sport ie go to different DZ's and go to the big boggies then you should have a much longer life in the sport.
