I know what you mean JT. My first jump I was laughing when I saw my exit. It looked like I was having a heart attack/ Shitting my pants. But it was a good 24 seconds. Anyone else watch all their jumps on tape? Who ever said comming down from a high was bad obviously never tried this. Peter

Yeah I remeber the first time I went for my PFF. My mom was swearing at first then that passed and she was crying. After that step was acceptance and shw wished me luck. I did as most should do though and did mine over the course of 2 weeks and now my mom is thinking of getting me an altimeter for my B-day. How cool is that? Being on terms with your X's is always a good thing but getting the incriminating evidence back first is always a good thing. That happened to me once. I think that it is really to bad you can't jump but I would just take that out of the picture for now and do all the research you can in the mean time on eye surgury and your sist. You will probably find that the procedure has a 90% success rate. As for the financial situation that is always hard to deal with but ask your self. Is getting through this imporatnt enough to me that I will overcome all odds or becuase I will be in a pinch for 5 weeks I am through? Good luck you will be just fine. I have finished my PFF last fall ( OCT 19th ) and loved the fact that I can jump on my own now however I have seen so many people talk about what a tandem jump feels like that I think I wanna try one. My DZ opens up in 3 weeks and think it might not be a bad idea to try it then since I have not jumped in 4 months. Has anyone else ever had something like this happen? Your going to love your first time. Your right you will never forget your first jump. It is a completly life changing experience just like the first time you had sex. Sorry if that sounded insulting I assure you I don't want this thread locked over something so dumb as cook books. Yes your right I collect great recipies and take them down. My family very often has dinner parties and I grew up around great tasting food and would like to continue that tradition to my children and future family when the time comes. I have been following this thread and read the article in great detail. After reading the arcticle it is clear that so much effort is being expended to find out why some men are gay because they are different and not so much as to why these people are gay. In another thread posted recently, it was said very well that we as a species always ask the question why and push our limits and boundaries of knowledge. This setting is the staging ground for the next generation. It seems to make more sense to me that all though these men are homosexual and like men the real question here is why are they not like the rest of us. Clay> your post really hit the nail head on. I will have to say I definetly did NOT. I use cooksbooks very loosly as I like to customize me meals and tailor them to my tastes. I have to say though that I am generally impressed by the way that everyone contributed to this thread. Tonight I'm making Thai Green Cury. ( Thanks Dale ) I just finished my shopping got out of the office early today. Anyways I cook not to impress women but to eat like a king and to make mom jealous. P.S. Here is my idea for a post whore idea. I will give continuous updates on the most common words used on this forum and report them back to you all in miscellaneous threads. The goal then will be to spot the thread adding to the total word count. Yeah I'll write a script to do the work for me and then give you some really wierd answers.
