Though I'm risking being told off for thinking things through again, you might be interested to know that air is approximately .00005% free hydrogen. Of course I just KNOW someone will carelessly cite hydrogen-containing compounds, but bound hydrogen doesn't 'burn' into water. Even in a perfectly efficient 'burning', the 50ml or so of daily inhaled hydrogen would amount to less than the water vapour exhaled in a single breath. The human body is pretty damn good at regulating its water content. The MAIN point people are missing is that a pound of food does not equal a pound of amassed fat tissues. It's logically possible that 2 lbs of food could lead to more than 2 lbs of additional body weight. Imagine eating 2 lbs of food then having those nutrients trigger formation of tissues that retain the next 2 lbs of water you drink, leading to 4 lbs of weight gain. Think of fertilizer and plants. Well, if it comes down to math, then you're implying it's worth giving briefings only if it prevents 1 accident every 60 visiting jumpers or so.
