    Interesting. Attachment #1: Aerial photo of Parachute, Colorado area. Not real obvious in this view, but I guess the topo map reveals it better. The town of Parachute is at the red star. Parachute Creek is the smaller main canyon that flows from north to south directly down into the town at the red star. So I guess the top end of that with the side canyon branches is what is supposed to look like a parachute. Attachment #2: Topo map of top end of Parachute Creek. Nope, I still ain't seeing it... I wonder what those surveyors were seeing that I'm not? If my parachute looks like that, its time to find out what color the reserve is!     I used to work with a guy, and still doing consulting with him. He opened up his own web hosting company, and now has grown pretty large. I cant promise we can get a hell of a deal, but hes pretty cool and might hook us up. I'm one of the reasons his company has been successful.     Get a bottle of motrin for all the bumps and bruises that you probably will get (although, the t-11 gear should be pretty new and still have padding, the t-10 gear is painful) get running, should be able to run about a mile and a half in boots with your helmet and a full canteen, as well as 5 miles at a pretty slow pace (like 9 min/mile +/- 15seconds) The rest is really a gutcheck and it was just miserable for me (the time I was there it was cold, raining and just crappy) If you want a day by day, let me know, Ill see if I can remember the overalls for each day.     I am by no means an expert on canopy systems or anything like that, but I cannot figure out a way to make my magnetic skytie not release... the magnets arent strong enough to hold after the risers are released. I would think its more likely that your helmet would interfere with the slider on a chop than the skytie.     I agree, I doubt a real skytie would have that problem, sadly looking around mine and most other dropzones, these 'bungy balls' seem to be the norm... As for stowing brake lines, those 20 seconds saved are vitally important to some people. It makes me cringe when someone tells me to just leave their excess brake line unstowed, and I dont ever do it without someone specifically telling me to. I dont see the rush, it takes 5seconds max per riser to put them in with a pullup cord.     From the UK skydive mag: At Skydive Spain, a situation where one of those elastic bungees with white ball on snags the excess brake line on a velocity causing a severe spiral. Before cutting away he reaches around and opens the reserve flap to free the slider stow. Without doing this it would have been likely the main would remain in tow. Have attached the article from the mag which includes a video image of the snag I dont see how that would happen with a skytie. I bet that guy stows his excess brake line now huh?
