  1. That reminded me of a cartoon I saw in Playboy, yeeears ago. It showed a tourist sneezing on a Native American, intricate, 'sand painting'. The look on the Indian's face was priceless! Chuck
  2. I used to know a master rigger who bought a bunch of poly-cotton 'hop-sack' material and tried to pass it off as Cordura!. Chuck
  3. I've worked on harness-containers that were Jade and Black and they look good together. Chuck
  4. There's something to really consider. In this litigous society we live in, anyone can sue anyone for just about any reason. Chuck
  5. Good for him! I doubt this will change any anti gunner's minds but it might just get them to consider things differently. Maybe, some anti-muslims, too. Ya' just neer know. As for the robber... what a dumb-ass! Trying to hold-up a store with an un-loaded weaspon? Then again, bad guys really aren't that smart to begin with. Glad you posted that. Chuck
  6. 'O.K. I gave you a good stock tip. Now, put me down!' Chuck
  7. And this is why I am so pissed, so very pissed, at all the scared-as-shit-gunophobes trying to take a way your means of protection against those bozos....irrespective of any constitutional rights. " I am the LAW! I tell you that you CANNOT protect yourselves against the crooks. I will arrest you and throw you into jail of you do! I'll even murder your sorry ass if you attempt to resist!" Fucking assholes. I believe in The Uncle Ted's (Nugent) rule; "You invade my property, invade my home or try to hurt my family... you're dead!" I believe in 'gun control... hitting your target'! Too bad about the gun-o-phobes. I wonder, how many gun-o-phobes have been saved by someone with a CCW permit? Chuck
  8. Well, yeah. I predict: Cops - 669 Occupiers - 0 Cops have the home field advantage. Great odds! I'll put $50.00 on the Cops!!! Chuck
  9. Where the hell is the "like" button on this webiste? Or the "Rike" button for our asian friends. Which raises the question... Do they get a lot of Wong numbers in China Town? Chuck
  10. The combination of spring and primaries will be the starting pistol for them, I'm sure. NY is Apr 24th so figure they'll start up right around the beginning of the month. CA is back to the usual first Tuesday in June, so they probably won't wait that long. Of course, the Oakland folks are getting restraining orders up the ass now, so they may all be in jail by then. Hey! Brain Flash! Is it legal to drink beer in public in NY and/or CA? I'm thinkin'... -lawn chair -cooler -snacks -sammiches -watch the action -cheer for the home team

They'll just get the 'Lindsey Lohan revolving door treatment' because of jail over-crowding. Chuck
  12. Fair weather protesters! That's just about right! Chuck
  13. I just don't know! You really are you... aren't you? Chuck
  14. Or we've seen the last of dreamsnatcher or maybe they're twins! At any rate... I'm confused. They just sound so much alike. Chuck
  15. and he registered Feb 1 Right about the time dreamdancer took offense to my opinion of the occupiers, suddenly a new poster, with the same 'handle' as the thread he started appears, using the same language. How obvious! Chuck
  16. They should be allowed to their free speech. But when they cross the line into trespassing, vandalism, riots, etc., then they should be held accountable. I don't want any prior restraints on them. The world should be allowed to see what they are really about. Don't you think the world has seen enough of them? How much longer should we let them continue? Chuck They may be useful until after the election then they will be ignored and will go away on their own Politicians... the levels they'll stoop to! Chuck
  17. Looks to me like they are going to do more for you. And I have no problem with anyone being a part of any of these types of things; it is all about their choices, not mine. JerryBaumchen Hi Jerry! I'm with you on that. I have a cell-phone but it stays in my pick-up. Where I live, there is no service. My wife and I use our cell-phones only when traveling. As for facebook and all those other 'social networks, I think, are an enormous waste of time. I have plenty to keep me busy and when I need to contact someone, I use the old 'land-line'. Like you, I don't 'need' all that stuff but if others do, fine. Chuck
  18. Have you noticed the close resemblance between dreamdancer's posts and occupy101's posts? Coincidence? I think not! Chuck
  19. Maybe or maybe not, but that's mostly irrelevant to the First Amendment. The First Amendment is rather toothless if it only protects speech that society finds popular, or is conveyed in a manner that people find comfortable. Forever. Within the law, and where their rights sometimes conflict with the rights of others (such as blocking public sidewalks or camping out in certain areas), those rights must be carefully balanced against each other. Not an easy task, but that's how it's done. And if they break the law, they should be prosecuted. I can certainly understand what you are saying but thes people are in fact, breaking the laws by trespassing, camping where they shouldn't, public defication and urinating and so-on. I do believe that our Constitutional Rights are being stretched to the breaking point... toothless or not, enough is enough. With our rights must come responsibility on our part and not just an open door for folks to do anything they want in spite of everyone else, while screaming that they have their rights to do so. Chuck

  21. Agreed. Disagreed. Only by thinking that their rights are superior to others does that right exist. The right to protest exists and causes no duty for others. Those asshole punks (you didn't occupy Oakland because you're in a tax haven like Thailand, so this isn't a personal attack on you) that break into places and take control are stepping on the rights of others. You only justify it because you think that your cause and your peeps are worthier than others. Which is a disgusting thought. It's a difficult thing to break to people that none of us are more or less worthy. Nobody. Not even your "I used to be considered a thief but now I am calling myself a protester" friends. The occupiers think the world 'owes' them. I hate to break the news but the world don't owe them shit. The lazy dead-butts need to find something more worthwhile like picking-up trash or some other public work instead of urinating and taking a crap in front of businesses and stealing houses and other structures. All they are is a bunch of thieves and squatters and need their collective ass kicked. If they accomplish anything it will be that of giving the rest of the world a bad image of people in the U.S.A. As far as I'm concerned, anyone who even supports them is just as guilty. Chuck
  22. It appears to me, the occupiers have been called a lot of things. p.s. I know what you're up to. Chuck
  23. Soooooooo... you've changed your monicker dreamweaver! Chuck
