Really? As a big fan of President Hussein Obama myself, I love seeing shit like this. While I think more guns in society are a bad idea, occasionally, something likes this comes along and makes me think twice. Had that customer in that store, with a gun, not been in that store, that employee could be dead. Part of being a concealed carry permit holder is to protect the life of another. Crooks with guns during a hold-up get jittery and bad things happen to innocent people. This incident only solidifies concealed carry. The thinking on the part of the family of the crook is more than mis-guided. I can see a civil suit coming from this and that, is just too wrong. Chuck And for every case like this where a concealed weapon may have prevented a death(s), there are many more where a concealed weapon was left on a car seat, on a kitchen table, or some other place where a child finds it and kills themselves or others. I don't think an attorney would ever take this case. You'd be surprised! There are some scheister lawyers out there who will take-on anything if they think there's a dollar in it. Those careless people with guns should not have them and they only make it rough for real, responsible gun owners. I can't see generalizing 'all' gun owners. It's that old story... one bad apples spoils the bunch. Chuck

I have been fortunate in my lifetime to witness the birth of calves and foals. What takes place between mother and baby is amazing. I've heard too many times from people that animals are dumb but that is far from the truth. The relationship between mother and baby lasts long after birth. The mothers are very protective and caring, even after weaning. To me, it's a beautiful thing. Seeing the mother and baby elephant is not un-like other creatures. Chuck

When she sticks her tongue out, she looks like the illegitimate child of Gene Simmons! Chuck I seem to be the only one who has no issue with her at all. I think the song is a pretty decent song. and her antics at the music awards are just publicity which seems to be paying off for her. As to the wrecking ball video clip. I'm more than fine with that. It's tame by comparison to many of the clips that were around in the early 80s. I can’t believe skydivers would get their panties in a knot over what some bubble head does. It seems pretty calm when put up against what went on in the old “Bomb Shelter” at Perris. Sparky Sparky, Sparky, Sparky... What are we gonna do with you? That's disgusting!!! Chuck

Personally, I couldn't care less about Miley Cyrus. Chuck

Actually, I was hoping to hear Andy 908 and all the race baiters vomiting. Just a friendly reminder:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aY7WCX6BwYE When it's coming from all sides... you know, you screwed-up. To me, the man is 'calling a spade a spade'. Chuck

You got that right! Hope, you're not having to go through Texas!? It's pretty nasty on the highways with all the ice we've had lately. We just got power back today after being out for the last 30 hrs. Some parts are still out. Down power lines all over the place. Chuck

It might be old but it's still good! Chuck

Paula Deen admitted using the N-word to describe someone who mugged her in the 80's. http://www.insideedition.com/headlines/6579-paula-deens-robber-comes-to-her-defense Maybe, she'd been better off calling him a son of a bitch! Chuck

That's a darned good question. Wish I had the answer. Chuck

Why?? French maid fantasies?? If I had one of those house keepers coming by, I'd spend all my time throwing stuff on the floor so they'd have to bend over to pick it up. But that's just me.

11/22/63, I was a senior in high school and returning to my classroom when I heard it over the speaker system. 01/28/86,I was at work and heard it on the radio. 9/11, My wife and I were watching Good Morning America when they turned to live coverage. Chuck

It came across to me that Obama was really applying pressure to Senators and Congressmen to get HIS bill passed. Maybe he's not acting like a dictator but more like a bully. The people need to contact their representatives and tell them, they don't like it and don't want it. Public marches across the country and DC, won't hurt! I still don't understand how the president can force people to buy a certain product. ChuckActually There is a law suit that challenges the ACA law This suit is based on a tax bill not being created in the House as says it is supposed to be by the Constitution The Senate, as admitted by Dirty Harry Reid, took an not confrentaiton bill sent to them by the House, stripped all the content and repaced it with what is the ACA today Going to be interesting to watch Yessir! It will be interesting to watch. I think the whole thing needs to be dumped in the 'circular file'. Chuck

Did you know there is a position called the House Whip? The title is exactly what is sounds like - that person's job is to keep their people in line. Party leadership applies pressure to its membership to get legislation passed (or killed). If you don't play along, you find yourself on the subcommittee for basket weaving. This has been true since the 18th Century. Thanks for that! Chuck

"Bringing down the cost of health care coverage." I think, that's my very favorite item. Also one big lie. I wonder, just how many of our representatives actually read the entire bill, before voting on it. I'm sure, they had one of their aids read it and then give them the 'Cliff Notes' version. The only reason I could see that that bill was passed in the first place was so our representatives could get their riders attached knowing Obama would simply sign it. Chuck
